Abstract

Response of Eco Enzyme Administration and Rhizobium Isolation on the Growth and Production of Shallots (Allium ascolonicum L). This study aims to determine the effectiveness of eco enzyme administration and rhizobium isolation as well as the interaction of eco enzyme and rhizobium isolation on the growth and production of shallots (Allium ascolonicum L). This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors, 16 treatments, and 3 blocks. The results showed that the effectiveness of eco enzyme administration and rhizobium isolation had an effect on the parameters of plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of tubers per sample (tubers), wet tuber production per sample (g), wet tuber production per plot ( g), dry tuber production per sample (g), dry tuber production per plot (g). The interaction between the effectiveness of eco enzyme administration and rhizobium isolation had no effect on plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of tubers per sample (tubers), wet tuber production per sample (g), wet tuber production per plot (g), dry tuber production per sample (g), dry tuber production per plot (g).

Abstract

Effectiveness of Eco Farming Photosynthesis Fertilizer and Goat Manure Fertilizer on Vegetative Growth of Coffee Plants (Coffea sp) The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the application of photosynthetic eco farming fertilizer and goat manure fertilizer and its interaction on the vegetative growth of coffee plants (Coffea sp), This research was carried out from November 2023 to February 2024 in Sei Mencirim Village, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. The study used the Factorial Group Random Design (RAK) method with two treatment factors, the first factor is photosynthetic eco farming fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely E0 = 0 ml/liter of water/plot, E1 = 100 ml/liter of water/plot, E2 = 200 ml/liter of water/plot, E3 = 300 ml/liter of water/plot, while the second factor is goat manure fertilizer which consists of 4 levels, namely K0 = 0 g/plot, K1 = 100 g/plot, K2 = 200 g/plot, and K3 = 300 g/plot. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), and stem diameter (mm). The results showed that the effectiveness of applying photosynthetic eco farming fertilizer and goat manure fertilizer had an effect on plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), and the number of leaves (strands) of coffee plant seedlings. The interaction of the effectiveness of the application of photosynthetic eco farming fertilizer and goat manure fertilizer did not affect the plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), and the number of leaves (strands) of coffee plant seedlings.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an entrance ticket application based on QR Code "TIQ" that can be used in Mangrove Tourism in Kota Pari Village. Kota Pari Village Mangrove Tourism is one of the popular tourist destinations that offers natural exploration and environmental education experiences. However, the admission system currently in use still uses manual methods that are prone to fraud and are time-consuming. Therefore, this research aims to introduce an efficient and safe QR Code-based admission ticket application. This research uses a software development method with the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. In the needs analysis stage, we conducted a survey of tourism visitors and management of Mangrove tourism in Pari City Village to understand the needs and obstacles that exist in the current entrance ticket system. Visitors can scan their QR Code when they arrive at the entrance, and the admission ticket information will be validated instantly by the system. The recorded entry ticket data will be stored in the database for monitoring and analysis purposes. The test results show that this QR Code-based admission ticket application can improve the efficiency and safety of the entrance ticket process at the Kota Pari Village Mangrove Tourism. Visitors can easily obtain their admission tickets and avoid long queues at the entrance. In addition, this system also reduces the potential for admission ticket fraud because each ticket has a unique code that is difficult to forge. This research contributes to the development of a technology-based admission ticket system in the tourism sector. This QR Code-based admission ticket application can be adopted by other tours to improve efficiency and visitor experience. In the end, it is hoped that this research can help improve the management and services in the Kota Pari Village Mangrove Tourism and provide better benefits for visitors and the local community.

Abstract

Effectiveness of Arabica Coffee Plant Pruning Technique (Coffea arabica) The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Arabica coffee plant pruning techniques (Coffea arabik). This study was conducted from April to June 2025 in Aeksabaon Village, Marancar District, South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra Province. The altitude is ± 75 meters above sea level. The study used the Non-Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) method with treatment factors. N1 = Form Pruning, N2 = Production Pruning, N3 = Rejuvenation Pruning. The research parameters include; wet fruit production per sample (g), wet fruit production per plot (g), dry fruit production per sample (g), dry fruit production per plot (g), dry bean production per sample (g), dry bean production per plot (g), weight of 100 dry beans (g). The results of the study showed that the effectiveness of pruning had a significant effect on the production of fresh fruit per sample (g), production of wet fruit per plot (g), production of dry fruit per sample (g), production of dry fruit per plot (g), production of dry seeds per sample (g), production of dry seeds per plot (g), and weight of 100 dry seeds (g).

Abstract

Yudi Siswanto, Isnar Sumartono, Nurliza Khatimah. Seed Depth Test and Eco Enzyme Application to the Vegetative Growth of Arabica Coffee Plants (Coffea arabika). The purpose of this study is to determine the depth of seeds and the application of eco enzymes and their interaction with the vegetative growth of Arabica coffee plants (Coffea arabika). This research was carried out in Medan Krio Village, Sunggal District. Deli Serdang Regency. North Sumatra Province with an altitude of ± 30 meters above sea level. This research was carried out from August to November 2025. This study uses a Factorial Group Axak Design (RAK). The first factor is that the depth of the seed is given the symbol "K" which consists of K0 = 0 cm, K1 = 0.5 cm, K2 = 1.0 cm, and K3 = 1.5 cm. The second factor is the application of eco enzymes with the symbol "E" which consists of E0 = 0 ml/liter of water, E1 = 100 ml/liter of water, E2 = 200 ml/liter of water, and E3 = 300 ml/liter of water. The observed parameters are; growth percentage (%), germination time (days), plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), and stem diameter (mm). The results of the study showed that the seed depth test and the application of eco enzymes had an influence on the parameters, namely: growth percentage (%), germination time (days), plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), and stem diameter (mm). The interaction of seed depth test and eco enzyme application did not affect the parameters: growth percentage (%), germination time (days), plant height (cm), number of leaves (leaves), and stem diameter (mm).
