Abstract

Abstrak Parkir di kawasan Kota Malang masih menjadi persoalan terutama terkait dengan kinerja parkir dan kelancaran lalu lintas serta potensinya menimbulkan kemacetan. Untuk itu mengetahui kinerja parkir menjadi sesuatu yang sangat penting apabila akan melakukan evaluasi secara komprehensif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja parkir di Kota Malang. Metode pengambilan data berupa survei karakteristik parkir untuk mengetahui jenis dan jumlah kendaraan yang masuk dan keluar tempat parkir serta lamanya parkir melalui metode vehicle count. Metode analisis dilakukan dengan menghitung volume parkir, akumulasi parkir, tingkat pergantian parkir, indeks parkir, dan Satuan Ruang Parkir (SRP). Hasil kajian diperoleh bahwa tingkat pergantian parkir tertinggi terjadi di lokasi Mal Ramayana dengan nilai sebesar 1,16 kendaraan/SRP/jam.  Sedangkan indeks parkir tertinggi berada di lokasi Ruko BRI Soehat dengan nilai 57,01 kendaraan/SRP/jam. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja parkir yang dilihat dari tingkat pergantian parkir dan indeks parkir  di kawasan kota Malang cukup tinggi, terutama pada waktu siang hari. Kata kunci: kinerja parkir, tepi jalan, pergantian parkir, indeks parkir    Abstract Parking in the Malang City area is still a problem, especially related to parking performance and smooth traffic and its potential to cause congestion. For this reason, knowing parking performance is very important if you are going to do a comprehensive evaluation. The purpose of this study was to determine parking performance in Malang City. The data collection method is a survey of parking characteristics to determine the type and number of vehicles entering and leaving the parking lot and the length of time they have been parked using the vehicle count method. The method of analysis is carried out by calculating parking volume, parking accumulation, parking turnover rate, parking index, and Parking Space Unit (PSU). The results of the study found that the highest parking turnover rate occurred at the Ramayana Mall location with a value of 1.16 vehicles/PSU/hour. While the highest parking index is at the BRI Soehat Ruko location with a value of 57.01 vehicles/PSU/hour. In general, it can be concluded that parking performance as seen from the parking turnover rate and parking index in the Malang city area is quite high, especially during the day.. Keywords: parking performance, on streets parking, parking, turnover parking, parking index.
