Abstract

Community empowerment is defined as an activity to increase the contribution of the community in meeting the necessities of life and solving problems that exist in society. Activities are carried out through the KKN program which is an activity based on community service to develop student empathy for the condition of society and the environment. The KKN was carried out in Rumpin, Bogor Regency, West Java Province with service methods such as education, training for Bina Trampil Plus Middle School students and the surrounding community. The results show that there is a positive response from the community by carrying out teaching activities at Bina Trampil Plus Middle School, namely the introduction of basic computers such as introduction to computer hardware, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel), and basic web programming (HTML and CSS).

Abstract

Abstract

The construction industry contributes approximately 37–39% of global carbon dioxide emissions and consumes around 36% of total final energy, making it a priority sector in the sustainable development agenda. Green technology in construction offers solutions through the use of low-carbon materials, energy efficiency, and green building certification. However, the adoption of green technology cannot be separated from ethical considerations involving the professional responsibility of engineers, social justice, certification transparency, and respect for local communities. This study employs a conceptual literature-based approach to identify and analyze relevant engineering ethics dimensions in the implementation of green technology in Indonesia's construction sector. The findings indicate that engineering ethics must serve as the primary foundation for every green technology adoption decision, rather than merely fulfilling formal regulatory requirements. This study recommends integrating an engineering ethics framework into Indonesian green construction practice standards.

Abstract

In the studies reviewed, bolted connections in steel structures generally exhibit semi-rigid behavior with a nonlinear moment-rotation response, where the majority of studies report behavior lying between the perfect pin and fully rigid conditions. The authors have not identified a review that simultaneously synthesizes rotational stiffness, bolt slip effects, and implications for SNI 1729:2020 within a single integrated framework; similar reviews in the Indonesian standards context remain scarce based on searches across Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. This study presents a systematic literature review following the PRISMA 2020 protocol (Page et al., 2021), examining 13 selected studies from 75 identified articles (search conducted 15–20 June 2026). The 2017–2025 timeframe was selected to capture recent developments in nonlinear analysis and FEM of bolted connections. Quality assessment using an internal scoring instrument adapted from JBI principles yielded scores ranging from 2 to 5 out of 5, reflecting realistic methodological quality variation. Qualitative synthesis reveals a consistent tendency that increasing end-plate thickness produces a significant increase in initial rotational stiffness, accompanied by a moderate-to-significant reduction in rotation capacity. Neglecting bolt slip was found to tend toward significant displacement prediction errors near ultimate capacity. Comparison of SNI 1729:2020 and Eurocode 3 identifies three aspects not yet explicitly accommodated in SNI 1729:2020, potentially addressable through Eurocode 3 component method adoption with Indonesian condition validation.
