Abstract

ABSTRAK Ruang lingkup bidang Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) antara lain adalah pengembangan bidang kesejahteraan dan pengembangan potensi industri kreatif. Kegiatan dalam program PkM yang dilakukan oleh dosen harus sesuai dengan permasalahan dan kebutuhan nyata masyarakat di lokasi tempat PkM. Pelatihan Keterampilan pembuatan pola celana santai merupakan kegiatan PkM yang dilakukan oleh dosen Pendidikna Vokasional Desain Fashion , Fakultas Bisnis dan Pendidikan Terapan , Universitas Aufa Royhan. Kegiatan tersebut bertujuan untuk memberikan bekal pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada Siswa Kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan dalam membuat pola celana. Siswa Kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan yang mengikuti pelatihan keterampilan pembuatan pola celana. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM diawali dengan survey lokasi, dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan pembuatan pola celana santai, peserta diberikan modul pembuatan pola celana santai, dosen menjelaskan materi pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah dan mendemontrasikan langkah-langkah pembuatan pola celana santai, selanjutnya dosen dan mahasiswa memberikan bimbingan kepada peserta dalam praktik pembuatan pola celana santai. Pelibatan mahasiswa dalam kegiatan PkM adalah agar mahasiswa memiliki jiwa pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan memberikan konstribusi keahliannya dan peduli terhadap kondisi yang tengah terjadi pada lingkungan masyarakat. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM adalah peserta memiliki keterampilan dalam membuat pola celana santai yang dapat dijual untuk menambah income dan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan. Activities in the PkM program carried out by lecturers must be in accordance with the real problems and needs of the community in the PkM location. The Casual Pants Pattern Making Skills Training is a PkM activity carried out by the Fashion Design Vocational Education lecturer, Faculty of Business and Applied Education, Aufa Royhan University. The activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for Class XI Students of SMK Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan in making trouser patterns. Class XI students of SMK Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan participating in a pants pattern making skills training. The method used in the implementation of PkM activities begins with a location survey, followed by training on making trousers patterns, participants are given a module for making trousers patterns, the lecturer explains the learning material using the lecture method and demonstrates the steps for making trousers patterns, then the lecturer and students provide guidance to participants in the practice of making casual pants patterns. The involvement of students in PkM activities is so that students have a spirit of community service by contributing their expertise and caring about the conditions that are currently happening in the community environment. The result of PkM activities is that participants have skills in making patterns of casual pants that can be sold to increase income and improve welfare. Keywords : Pattern, Pants, Casual

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kajian masalah dalam penelitian ini mengenai penerapan hasil belajar membuat hiasan busana pada pembuatan busana pesta anak yang dilakukan di SMK Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan Pada Peserta Didik kelas XI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran atau data hasil belajar membuat hiasan busana ditinjau dari kopetensi pengetahuan alat dan bahan pembuatan hiasan Baju, motif hiasan, pola hiasan, desain hiasan, unsur hiasan, macam-macam tusuk hias dasar, dan macam-macam sulaman pada pembuatan hiasan busana pesta anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptip yang menggunakan strategi kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel total berjumlah 27 orang. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan angket. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan hasil belajar “Membuat Hiasan pada Busana” di tinjau dari penerapan pengetahuan alat dan bahan pembuatan hiasan busana, motif hiasan, pola hiasan, desain hiasan dan unsur hiasan busana, serta pemilihan tehnik hiasan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik busana. Saran yang diajukan adalah peserta didik agar mengembangkan dan meningkatkan keterampilan dengan cara banyak berlatih membuat macam-macam bentuk desain hiasan, pola hiasan dengan teknik sulaman pada Kreativitas siswa dalam Pembuatan Hiasan Baju Kata Kunci: Kreativitas, Hiasan baju Abstract Study of the problem in this study regarding the application of learning outcomes to make fashion decorations in the manufacture of children's party dresses carried out at SMK Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan for Class XI Students. This study aims to obtain an overview or data on the results of learning to make fashion ornaments in terms of competency knowledge of tools and materials for making clothes decorations, decorative motifs, decorative patterns, decorative designs, decorative elements, various basic decorative stitches, and various types of embroidery in making children's party dress. The research method used is a descriptive method using a quantitative strategy. The sample used is a total sample of 27 people. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire. The conclusion of this study shows that the application of learning outcomes "Making Decorations on Clothing" is reviewed from the application of knowledge of tools and materials for making fashion decorations, decorative motifs, decorative patterns, decorative designs and elements of clothing decoration, as well as the selection of decorative techniques according to the characteristics dress. The suggestion put forward is that students develop and improve their skills by practicing a lot in making various forms of decorative designs, decorative patterns with embroidery techniques on student creativity in making clothes ornaments. Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) bertujuan untuk melatih jiwa wirausaha Ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang ikut dalam pelatihan di BLK Kota Padangsidimpuan melalui pemanfaatan limbah kain perca menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomis. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2019. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk: 1) penyuluhan dan pemahaman wirausaha pada Ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang ikut dalam pelatihan di BLK Kota Padangsidimpuan, 2) praktik dan pendampingan pembuatan produk/Bros, 3) monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut adalah: Ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang ikut dalam pelatihan di BLK Kota Padangsidimpuan mampu memanfaatkan limbah kain perca menjadi produk unik antara lain: 1) bros, 2) Ikat Rambut dll, serta produk kreativitas lainnya yang memiliki nilai jual. Diharapkan, kegiatan ini mampu menjadikan Ibu-ibu r umah tangga yang kreatif dan mengurangi limbah kain perca dengan mengubahnya menjadi produk yang lebih bermanfaat. Kata kunci : Kain Perca, Bros, Ibu-Ibu ABSTRACT Community Service (PKM) aims to train the entrepreneurial spirit of housewives who participate in training at BLK Padangsidimpuan City through the utilization of patchwork waste into products that have economic value. This activity was carried out in March 2019. This activity was carried out in the form of: 1) counseling and understanding of entrepreneurship for housewives who participated in training at BLK Padangsidimpuan City, 2) practice and assistance in making products/brooches, 3) monitoring and evaluation . The results of these activities were: Housewives who took part in the training at BLK Padangsidimpuan City were able to utilize patchwork waste into unique products, including: 1) brooches, 2) Hair ties etc., as well as other creative products that have selling points. It is hoped that this activity will be able to make housewives creative and reduce patchwork waste by turning it into more useful products. Keywords: patchwork, brooches, mothers.

Abstract

Stunting is one of the most significant obstacles in producing quality human resources in every country. Stunting is a growth and development disorder experienced by children under five due to long-term malnutrition, recurrent infectious diseases, and lack of psychosocial stimulation. Stunting events can be prevented starting from adolescence, where teenagers are the generation of prospective mothers and prospective fathers, so it is necessary given good knowledge about balanced nutrition and choosing the right food to prevent stunting from an early age. One effort to increase teenagers' knowledge is by providing nutrition education. Nutrition education is very necessary to increase adolescent nutritional knowledge, form a positive attitude towards nutritious food in order to form good eating habits. The more they have good nutritional knowledge, the more an individual will consider the type and quality of food they choose to consume. In the first stage the material provided is balanced nutrition for teenagers and in the second stage the material is selecting the right menu in accordance with the principles of balanced nutrition. there is an increase in skills in preparing healthy daily menu choices and paying attention to the principles of balanced nutrition. All participants were enthusiastic in taking part in the activity.
