This study aims to determine the factors that affect foreign exchange reserves in Indonesia in 2020-2022. Foreign exchange reserves are external assets that can be directly available to and are under the control of the Central Bank as the monetary authority to finance balance of payments imbalances, intervene in the market in order to maintain exchange rate stability, and other purposes. Foreign exchange reserves are influenced by many interrelated factors, including exports and the rupiah exchange rate. This research method is quantitative, data processing using SPSS and tests with multiple linear regression. The type of data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and Bank Indonesia with time series data for 3 years on a monthly basis (January to December). The data analysis used is multiple linear analysis and classical assumption test. The results showed that the Inflation Rate had an effect and was not significant to Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves. Interest rates have a positive and significant effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves. The exchange rate has an effect and is not significant to Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves. Foreign Debt has a positive and significant effect on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves. This shows that the stronger the Foreign Debt in Indonesia, the more it will affect the foreign exchange reserves in the country of Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development strategy of halal tourism objects in Medan City. This study uses SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis method to evaluate the internal and external factors that affect the development of halal tourism in this city. The analysis results show that Medan City has significant strengths, such as rich cultural potential, nature tourism, accommodation and ease of communication. However, there are weaknesses such as halal services that need to be improved, service quality, and less effective promotion. Significant opportunities were also identified, including the rapidly growing halal tourism market and the potential for increased international cooperation. However, threats such as competition from similar destinations, security issues, economic fluctuations, and related policy changes need to be addressed. The results of this study indicate the need for a targeted and sustainable development strategy to capitalize on the potential of halal tourism in Medan City. Therefore, the Medan City government undertakes a strategy that involves improving service quality, effective promotion, and stronger cooperation with stakeholders. This strategy is expected to develop Medan City as an attractive and sustainable halal tourism destination.

Abstract

The Mayor of Medan has launched a policy that fulfills the consumption sector for all activities within the Medan City Government to promote Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). There are many efforts made by the Medan city government to raise MSMEs in this region. Starting from carrying out many regional events, UMKM bazaars, to the needs in the office area itself using vendors from MSMEs. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method. In this methodology, researchers emphasize the socially constructed nature of reality, the close relationship between the researcher and the subject under study. The data used in this study uses primary data obtained from direct interviews with the Medan City Government and MSME players related to the E-Catalog program to see how effective this system is in developing existing MSMEs. It is concluded that this e-catalog program has not fulfilled all aspects of the effectiveness of the theory. Where there are 5 theories of the effectiveness of the success of government programs that can be assessed from the success of the program, the success of the target, satisfaction with the program, the level of input and output, and the achievement of overall goals. However, the Medan City Government's program in advancing MSMEs should be appreciated, where this program has a huge impact on increasing MSME turnover and helping several MSMEs survive the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The goal of the study is to determine how the profitability of the Shariah general bank (BUS), which is anticipated to provide a return on assets, is impacted by fee-based income, spread for income, and financing to deposit ratio. (ROA). Descriptive quantitative research is the term for this kind of study. Data from the SBH, FBI, FDR, and ROA BUS for the years 2015 to 2022 are used as secondary data in the form of time series or time rows. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) website's Statistics of the Shariah General Bank provided the information. Purposive sampling was used to choose the sample for this investigation (based on criteria). Six Shariah General Banks (BUS) with OJK registration, namely BJBS, BMI, BMS, BSB, BCAS, and BTPN shariah, were utilized as samples. The study's findings demonstrate that the financing to deposit ratio, fee-based revenue, and spread for income collectively have a favorable and significant impact on the profitability (ROA) of Sharia banking at the Sharia General Bank in Indonesia. Abstract

The significance of the research roadmap's position within the study program stems from the fact that it serves as a guide, control, and assurance of the research quality for lecturers and students. Obtaining a research roadmap development design for the sharia insurance study program is the objective of this investigation. This research employs a qualitative approach. Qualitative analysis was employed to examine the data utilizing the 4D model in conjunction with the R&D (Research and Development) method. The research findings indicate that the formulation of the Research Roadmap Design for the Sharia Insurance Study Program was influenced by the following factors: the Scientific Vision of the program, the Field of Expertise of the Lecturers, ARKAN, industry needs and graduate profiles, and research topics conducted by both students and faculty. The research conducted by lecturers at Homebase remains below 50% compliant with the research roadmap outlined for the sharia insurance study program. The research road map indicates that fifty percent of students have completed sharia insurance study programs; however, a substantial amount of research remains that centers on the identical subject matter. Consequently, further deliberation is required to select and disseminate the remaining themes outlined in the research roadmap for sharia insurance study programs
