Abstract

Abstrak Salah satu perangkat WBAN (Wireless Body Area Network) yang kini menjadi sorotan, yaitu body worn antenna yang bisa terintegrasi dengan perangkat tertentu. Perangkat tersebut digunakan, antara lain dalam bidang kesehatan, seperti aplikasi medis yang mengumpulkan data kondisi pasien berupa denyut jantung, laju pernapasan, atau kadar oksigen pada darah. Pengukuran PIFA menghasilkan antenna yang bisa diaplikasikan untuk komunikasi WBANs yang bekerja pada rentang frekuensi bluetooth (2,440 – 2,448 GHz), VSWR ≤ 1.5, return loss ≤ –15 dB dengan menggunakan substrat FR-4. Hasil pengukuran pada frekuensi tengah (2.444 GHz) adalah return loss -23.484 dB, VSWR 1.1497 dan impedansi 43.547 Ω. Kata Kunci: Wireless Body Area Network, Planar Inverted F-Antenna, Mikrostrip Abstract One of the WBAN Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) devices that is now in the spotlight is a worn antenna body that can be integrated with certain devices implemented in the health field such as medical applications that collect patient condition data such as heart rate, respiratory rate, or blood oxygen level. The design and simulation of PIFA is expected to produce antennas that can be applied to WBANs communication working on the bluetooth frequency range (2.440 – 2448 GHz), VSWR ≤ 1.5, and return loss ≤ −15�� by using FR-4 substrate. The results of meaasurement of return loss at the middle frequency 2.444 GHz) are -23.484, VSWR 1.1497 and impedance 43.547Ω.
