Abstract

For almost 2 years since February 2020 the Indonesian people have lived side by side with Covid-19. In Indonesia itself, various policies have been implemented such as Lockdown, Large-Scale Social Restrictions and Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities. These policies are certainly very influential on the economic system, industry, mental health and people's psychology. The World Health Organization (WHO) states that negative effects on mental and psychosocial health need special attention. Virtual Psychosocial Therapy is a virtual-based psychological therapy in an effort to restore mental and psychological health for people affected by Covid-19. This literature review is to identify innovations in virtual-based psychological therapy in efforts to restore mental and psychosocial health during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research paper is a literature review using the Google Scholar, Scopus, Science Direct database. There are 12 recent articles with the theme of virtual-based psychological therapy that we have reviewed with the year 2020-2021 published. From the results of our review of the 12 articles, there are 4 types of virtual-based psychological therapy, namely telepsychology, telemental, teletherapeutic and Cyber Counseling. The problems regarding psychological disorders experienced by the community are excessive anxiety during the pandemic and boredom as a result of the policies set by the government that require people to carry out almost all of their activities from home. There are 4 types of virtual-based psychological therapy that we have obtained, namely telepsychology, telemental, teletherapeutic and Cyber Counseling, which are carried out virtually by utilizing the development of science and technology through internet network communication media so that it can be done anywhere and anytime with a time agreed upon by the counseling and counselor so that there is no need to meet face-to-face during the Covid-19 pandemic. Virtual-based psychological therapy by utilizing science and technology developments is effective in improving the mental and psychological health status of the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Introduction : The Covid-19 pandemic is a big challenge in the world of health, including nursing. Nurses are the main stronghold in patient care because nurses meet patients more frequently and longer than other medical personnel. The use of PPE is urgently needed in treating patients with Covid-19, the impact of using PPE cannot be avoided and can affect nurses, feelings of discomfort and poor physical condition can result in a decrease in both physical and psychological health. Purpose: This article review aims to determine the impact of using PPE on nurses' physical and psychological health during a pandemic. Method: This article was reviewed by identifying articles in the last 5 years with the theme of the effect of the use of PPE on the physiology and psychology of nurses during a pandemic with the original article inclusion criteria. Results: This article review collects articles from Google Scholar and ScienceDirect keywords used PPE, covid19, nurse, physical aspect, and biological aspect. The results of the identification resulted in 15 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Conclusion: PPE has an impact on the physical aspects, namely respiratory disorders and fatigue. Influences on the psychological aspects are stress, depression, and anxiety. Nurses must have physical and mental health preparations to face various challenges in patient care processes and procedures during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Demam typhoid merupakan salah satu penyakit endemik di Indonesia. Demam typhoid bisa dialami oleh semua jenis kelamin maupun kelompok umur terutama oleh anak-anak maupun remaja. Demam typhoid mengharuskan anak untuk menjalani perawatan di rumah sakit, sehingga anak mengalami hospitalisasi dan terjadi ansietas. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan proses keperawatan meliputi pengkajian, diagnosa, intervensi, implementasi dan evaluasi keperawatan. Prosedur pengumpulan data yaitu dengan menggunakan WOD (Wawancara, Observasi, Dokumentasi). Wawancara terstruktur dengan menggunakan format keperawatan anak, Observasi langsung untuk memantau keadaan klien, dan dokumentasi untuk mencatat data dari orang tua klien maupun klien sendiri. Hasil : Setelah dilakukan penerapan puzzle therapy selama 3 hari berturut-turut dengan durasi 15 menit, skor ansietas kedua klien mengalami penurunan dari sedang hingga ringan. Rata rata penurunan score ansietas yang diukur dengan PAS (Preschool Anxiety Scale) pada klien 1 adalah 3 score, sedangkan pada klien 2 rata-rata penurunan score ansietas adalah 9 score. Kesimpulan: Terapi bermain puzzle terbukti dapat menurunkan ansietas pada anak dengan demam typhoid.
