Abstract

The level of understanding of reading English narrative texts at the junior high school level still needs to be given extra learning. There are many factors that prevent students from understanding the narrative text, one of which is students who have difficulty understanding English words in narrative texts. This study uses the theory of constructivism, namely two-way learning carried out by the teacher and the students in the class. This research uses a qualitative method, in which the researcher uses research by means of classroom observations, and interviews in an effort to obtain data at school. The participants in this study were eighth grade students in one of the public schools in Bekasi Regency, West Java. The selected students are representatives of several students in the learning group. The results of this study are, there are some students who still do not master and understand the narrative legend text using constructivism techniques.

Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) is pivotal in driving organizational success and societal well-being, particularly in the contemporary digital era. This paper elucidates the imperative of optimizing HRM practices to achieve maximum organizational performance and sustainable economic well-being. It explores the multifaceted aspects of HRM, including recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and compensation, emphasizing their direct impact on employee productivity and motivation, thereby influencing organizational outcomes and economic welfare. Furthermore, it delves into the challenges posed by globalization, technological advancements, and changing consumer behavior, necessitating a strategic and adaptive approach to HRM. The study underscores the importance of innovative, data-driven HRM strategies to enhance organizational performance and employee well-being. Moreover, it highlights the significance of sustainability and social responsibility in HR practices, advocating for fair, inclusive, and environmentally friendly approaches. Drawing from qualitative research methods, the paper presents insights into the role of HRM in promoting work-life balance, enhancing digital skills, and managing change in the digital era. It concludes by emphasizing the pivotal role of HRM in navigating digital challenges and fostering societal well-being, advocating for investments in HR management and digital capabilities to thrive in the digitalized world.

Abstract

Kemampuan kepala sekolah dalam mengelola perubahan sangat penting, mengingat dunia pendidikan yang terus berkembang. Mereka perlu menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung kesejahteraan siswa, serta memastikan bahwa semua siswa mendapatkan kesempatan yang sama untuk belajar dan berkembang. Evaluasi rutin terhadap proses pembelajaran juga menjadi bagian penting dari tugas kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan evaluasi diri sekolah (EDS) adalah proses penting yang berfungsi sebagai alat ukur dan sarana perbaikan berkelanjutan dalam lembaga pendidikan. EDS meliputi penyusunan instrumen, pengumpulan dan analisis data, penentuan akar masalah, serta penyusunan rekomendasi strategis. Melibatkan semua pemangku kepentingan guru, siswa, dan orang tua menciptakan budaya evaluasi yang inklusif dan kolaboratif.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pentingnya literasi keuangan, adopsi teknologi, serta strategi inovasi digital dalam mendukung pertumbuhan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di era digital yang semakin kompleks. Literasi keuangan yang baik memungkinkan UMKM untuk mengelola aliran kas, investasi, dan risiko dengan lebih efisien, sementara teknologi finansial (Fintech) memberikan solusi dalam pengelolaan keuangan dan operasional bisnis. Selain itu, adopsi pemasaran digital melalui e-commerce dan penggunaan teknologi analitik berperan penting dalam memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan daya saing UMKM di pasar global. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya manajemen strategis dan inovasi berkelanjutan untuk keberhasilan jangka panjang UMKM dalam menghadapi persaingan yang ketat. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur, artikel ini menunjukkan bagaimana UMKM dapat memanfaatkan inovasi digital dan teknologi untuk bertahan dan berkembang di pasar yang terus berubah. Keberhasilan UMKM bergantung pada kemampuan untuk mengadaptasi strategi inovasi dan teknologi digital yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar dan tantangan yang ada.

Abstract

This research delves into the pivotal role of teacher educational communication in shaping the learning environment and influencing student learning motivation. Through a descriptive research approach employing qualitative methods, observations, interviews, and documentation were utilized for data collection. The results indicate that teachers significantly influence student learning motivation through their presence, guidance, and encouragement, fostering conducive learning atmospheres. Effective communication strategies tailored to individual student needs, incorporating interactive techniques, and integrating technology were found to enhance student engagement and interest in learning. Moreover, collaborative efforts between teachers, parents, and the broader community contribute to a supportive learning environment, nurturing students' academic and personal growth. The study underscores the importance of teacher educational communication in shaping the learning environment, fostering positive relationships, and motivating students to achieve their full potential, thereby empowering them to succeed academically and thrive personally.

Abstract

Pendidikan memainkan peran krusial dalam mengantisipasi perubahan ekonomi dan industri yang terus berlangsung. Di era saat ini, di mana keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi semakin penting, pendidikan harus menyesuaikan diri dengan pergeseran kebutuhan pasar tenaga kerja. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat mengatasi tantangan ini adalah pendekatan pembelajaran STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), yang memadukan berbagai disiplin ilmu untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan kolaborasi. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi STEAM dapat meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap mata pelajaran inti, serta mengembangkan keterampilan praktis yang relevan dengan tuntutan zaman. Namun, tantangan seperti kurangnya dukungan pemerintah perlu diatasi untuk meningkatkan kesuksesan implementasi STEAM. Dengan komitmen bersama, pendidikan STEAM memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan masa depan di era digital dan globalisasi.
