Abstract

This research was conducted to evaluate media with career assistance for class XII students at MAN 2 Bantul, D.I. Yogyakarta by using a qualitative descriptive approach. Media evaluation helps this career using the Context, Input Process and Product evaluation model or what is often called the CIPP Evaluation Model. The basis for selecting this evaluation is because it covers more as a whole than other evaluation models. As the name implies, the aspects in this evaluation are Context, Process Input and Product. Context evaluation which is intended to examine the background of media production, Evaluation of input or input reviews regarding materials and supporting resources both facilities and infrastructure, Process Evaluation is evaluating users and also product evaluation, namely studying media results, helping careers developed. The focus of research on evaluating media assistance in career selection for class XII students at MAN 2 Bantul is based on a website. The hope of evaluating the development of this media is that the media will have better product quality and be more useful.

Abstract

Karya sastra merupakan wadah untuk mengungkapkan ide dan pesan melalui tulisan. Novel Hello Salma karya Erisca Febriani memilih topik kesehatan mental, khususnya depresi, yang dikemas dengan apik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan latar belakang terbentuknya konseling kelompok dalam novel dan bentuk praktik konseling kelompok di dalamnya. Penelitian ini berbeda dari penelitian sebelumnya dengan berfokus pada objek formal praktik konseling kelompok yang terdapat dalam novel. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutik, penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis elemen-elemen praktik konseling kelompok dalam novel Hello Salma karya Erisca Febriani. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan tiga unsur praktik konseling kelompok dalam novel. Pertama, terbentuknya kelompok melalui kegiatan berkumpul dan menciptakan suasana yang akrab. Kedua, anggota kelompok saling bercerita mengenai masalah yang dialami. Ketiga, anggota kelompok memberikan respon dan dukungan emosional satu sama lain, baik dalam bentuk verbal maupun non-verbal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa novel Hello Salma karya Erisca Febriani mencerminkan unsur-unsur praktik konseling kelompok, menjadikan cerita ini sebagai representasi yang kuat tentang pentingnya dukungan sosial dalam mengatasi depresi dan masalah kesehatan mental.

Abstract

Suicide is an act of taking one's life consciously and deliberately due to certain factors. Suicidal ideas arise due to mental health disorders and lack of social support. This research aims to reveal the causes of the suicide phenomenon which is said to have become a trend in recent years and the influence of social media on the emergence of suicidal ideas in teenagers. This research uses a literature study research method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research results reveal that the phenomenon of suicide has increased in recent years. This is analyzed using Durkheim's theory which focuses on the increase in suicide rates and its relationship with the condition of society. Pressure from society and ideal standards make some individuals decide to commit suicide. Individuals who commit suicide must have suicidal ideas/thoughts. One of the factors that influences the emergence of suicide, especially in teenagers, is the intensity of using social media. The tendency of teenagers to use social media actively causes mental health problems. The existing ideal standards also make teenagers feel pressured, triggering feelings of anxiety, stress, and even depression. Teenagers' difficulty in managing emotions and deciding on solutions makes most of them have suicidal thoughts. This research concludes that (1) the term suicide trend emerged due to an increase in suicide cases caused by pressure from society (2) social media has an influence on the emergence of suicidal ideation in teenagers.
