Abstract

There are several factors that affect teacher performance, such as discipline, education and training, work atmosphere, compensation, principal managerial competence, responsibility, and organizational culture. Two factor were utilized in this research, that are the principal managerial competence and organizational culture. This research aims to explain The correlation between principals managerial competence and organizational culture with teacher performance in MAN 01 Indragiri Hilir Riau. Quantitative approach with correlation method was conducted to determine whether there is correlation between. The population were all teachers in MAN 01 Indragiri Hilir Riau 2019  there numbering 70 teachers. And the sample at once. Data analysis used Partial Least Square (PLS) through the Smart PLS program version 3.0 data measurement including Outer Model and Inner Model, Boostrapping, and Blindfolding. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant positive correlation between the principal managerial competence with teacher performance with a P-Value <0,10 which was 0,039 with a coefficient value of 0,238 and (2) there is a significant positive correlation between organizational culture and teacher performance with a P-Value <0,10 which is equal to 0,000 with a coefficient value of 0,646.

Abstract

Abstrak. Keberadaan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) sudah menjadi hal yang lumrah digunakan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan, sehingga muncul bidang ilmu yang disebut sebagai teknologi pendidikan. Konsep teknologi pendidikan sudah dirumuskan sejak tahun 1963 dan terakhir tahun 2004 berikut cakupan-cakupannya. Sementara cakupan teknologi pendidikan terdiri dari lima kawasan yaitu desain, pengembangan, pemanfaatan, pengelolaan dan penilaian. Konsep yang dirumuskan berikut cakupannya berfokus pada memfasilitasi belajar peserta didik. Tulisan ini akan lebih rinci membahas dua dari lima cakupan teknologi pendidikan, yaitu pemanfaatan dan pengelolaan. Pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan terdiri dari pemanfaatan media, difusi inovasi, implementasi dan pelembagaan serta kebijakan dan regulasi, sementara pengelolaan teknologi pendidikan terdiri dari pengelolaan proyek, pengelolaan sumber, pengelolaan sistem penyampaian dan pengelolaan informasi. Pemanfaatan dan pengelolaan teknologi pendidikan merupakan upaya dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran.   Abstract. The existence of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become commonly used in various aspects of human life, including in the field of education so that a field of knowledge called educational technology appears. The concept of educational technology has been formulated since 1963 and finally in 2004 along with its scopes. While the scope of educational technology consists of five areas, namely design, development, utilization, management and assessment. The concept formulated along with its scope focuses on facilitating student learning. This paper will discuss in more detail two of the five scopes of educational technology, namely utilization and management. Utilization of educational technology consists of media utilization, innovation diffusion, implementation and institutionalization as well as policies and regulations, while the management of educational technology consists of project management, resource management, delivery system management and information management. Utilization and management of educational technology is an effort to support the learning process.
