Abstract

This study aims to describe the morphophonemic process that occurs as a result of the affixing process. The theory used in this research is the theory of Generative Morphology and Phonology (Schane, 1992). The results of this study indicate; (1) there is a change in sound that produces a new sound due to the meeting of two different morphemes, such as: nasal /ŋ/ becomes a homogeneous sound with preexisting obstruent sounds, such as [p, b, d, t, c , j, s, k, g] and changes in vowel sounds in the affixation process, such as changes in vowels [a, u] turning into vowels [o], [a, i] turning into vowels [e]; (2) there are additional sounds caused by the meeting of two different morphemes, such as the addition of sounds [n, y, w, l, k, t].

Abstract

The existence of Balinese literary works until now still has a place in the hearts ofBalinese literary lovers, so that the existence of Balinese literary works has lived along withthe times. There are many ways a writer can express his thoughts and ideas, one of which is bywriting a literary work in the form of a geguritan. Balinese purwa (classical) literary worksneed to be preserved, nurtured and developed, because they contain noble values which arevery important, meaning for the life of the people, especially the Balinese. The value theoryfrom Yudibrata is used to reveal the importance of Geguritan Maniguna as a classic literaturethat records culture from a long period of time and contains various cultural paintings, ideas,ethics, advice, entertainment and including religious life, especially regarding religious valuesthat exist. inside it.

Abstract

Permas adalah sebutan bagi penari Rejang Lilit di Desa Adat Mundeh, Kecamatan Kediri, Kabupaten Tabanan. Rejang Lilit dipentaskan saat piodalan jelih di Pura Pesamuan. Sebelum menarikan Rejang Lilit, jero permas akan melakukan ritual khusus, ngingsah. Ngingsah adalah sebuah ritual pembersihan sebelum memulai piodalan jelih di Pura Pesamuan. Ritual ini berkaitan erat dengan keberadaan sumber mata air di tepi sungai, sumber mata air itu disebut dengan beji. Jero permas harus hadir dalam ritual tersebut, untuk membersihkan diri di beji dan mengambil tirta beji. Tirta inilah yang akan digunakan untuk membersihkan seluruh sarana upakara yang digunakan untuk piodalan jelih. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Fungsionalisme Struktural dari Malinowski, terdapat empat aspek penting yaitu tempat upacara, waktu upacara, alat upacara, orang-orang yang melakukan upacara, memiliki keterkaitan yang kuat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ritual ngingsah menjadikan air sebagai entitas religi, yang mampu melestarikan sumber mata air di Desa Adat Mundeh.
