Abstract

The value of Javanese Culture in Novel Kartini by Abidah El Khalieqy and the Implications for Learning Appreciation of Indonesian Literature in High School. This study aims to determine the value of Javanese culture contained in Kartini's novel by Abidah El Khalieqy and its implications for literary appreciation learning in high school. Data from this study is the use of the Kartini novel by Abidah El Khalieqy. This research is classified as qualitative research. In this study the objects studied by the authors are: (1) intrinsic elements which include the theme, setting, plot, character and characterization, mandate, point of view and style of language. (2) The value of Javanese culture relates to various Javanese cultures such as literature, language, traditional ceremonies, arts, architecture, culinary, traditional clothing. (3) The dominant Javanese hierarchy emerged which was then analyzed using Javanese cultural theory. The results of the research conducted by the author indicate that many different Javanese cultures are contained in the novel. The emergence of these various cultures is none other because it is influenced by the background used in the novel, namely in Jepara, Central Java.

Abstract

Pada musim buah durian pada Bulan Agustus 2023 di desa Paya Bili Sa Kecamatan Birem Bayeun Aceh Timur terdapat banyak buah durian, hal tersebut karena hampir setiap penduduk memiliki kebun durian sendiri dirumah. Banyaknya buah durian juga menyebabkan terdapat banyaknya limbah kulit durian yang belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik. Minimnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dimiliki menyebabkan limbah kulit durian tersebut hanya ditumpuk begitu saja, belum ada usaha pengelolaan yang baik. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan terjadinya pencemaran lingkungan. Pada kegiatan kuliah kerja nyata (KKN) memanfaatkan limbah kulit durian untuk dapat digunakan agar bernilai ekonomis dan tidak mencemarkan lingkungan. Ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan kepada masyarakat mengenai manfaat kulit durian yang dapat dijadikan briket atau bahan bakar. Kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu berupa melakukan sosialisasi berupa pelatihan (penyuluhan) dalam pembuatan briket dari kulit durian. Melalui kegiatan ini output yang dirasakan warga Paya Billi sa ini adalah bertambahnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan kulit durian, masyarakat memiliki wawasan dan keterampilan dalam membuat briket dari limbah kulit durian. Serta menjadi solusi dalam hal penanggulangan limbah kulit durian. dengan adanya informasi dan pelatihan pembuatan briket ini menjadi solusi yang sebelumnya menjadi suatu permasalahan di Desa Paya Bili Sa
