Abstract

Background: The postpartum period is critical in the survival of mothers and newborns. Postpartum care can be done traditionally. The culture of postpartum care is very diverse; the perception of the community itself influences the application of postpartum care culture. Aim: This study aims to determine the public perception of the culture of postpartum maternal care. Methods: This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. There were six informants in this study, the informants were mothers who had given birth. This study uses data analysis steps: data reduction, categorization, synthesis, and hypothesis. Results: This study yielded three themes (types of culture, cultural perception, and preserving culture). Several existing treatment cultures range from dietary restrictions, behavior, dress, food recommendations, dressing, and traveling. In addition, there is a culture that is not following health, and there are also negative and positive impacts of culture so that some people have the perception to preserve it. The culture of postpartum mother care in Wangkelang village is very diverse. However, some cultures are not following health science. Apart from that, there are also positive and negative impacts of culture. Culture is a legacy and a habit that is carried out continuously. Conclusion: There are many cultures of caring for postpartum mothers in Wangkelang Village, such as food restrictions, activity restrictions, dress restrictions and travel restrictions.

Abstract

Background: Risky sexual behavior that is generally carried out by adolescents is an activity that is often carried out when dating, namely holding hands, kissing, and petting and having sex while dating. The increasing percentage of teenagers who have had premarital sex will also increase the negative impacts that can occur, such as teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, to social impacts in society. Aim:The purpose of this study was to identify risky sexual behavior in adolescents in Banyumas Regency. Methods: This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional research design. The sample of this research is junior high school, high school and vocational school students who attend school in Banyumas Regency. The sampling technique with probability stratified random sampling has been used and obtained 452 respondents. Results: The result show the respondents with risky sexuality were 251 respondents (55.5%). It is known that 231 teenagers with unsafe risky sexual behavior (51.1%) and 20 teenagers with unsafe behavior (4.4%). Most (251 respondents) have held hands with their partners (68.13%), hugged their partners' bodies (49.40%), masturbated (34.66%) and hugged their partners (27.09%). Conclusion: The high percentage of adolescents who have had premarital sexual intercourse will also increase the adverse effects that can occur, such as teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, to social impacts in society.

Abstract

Background: Oketani massage is a massage that can increase breast milk output. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of oketani massage on breast milk production. Methods: This study uses a literature review method. The search was limited to articles published from 2017-2021 with quantitative research types. Searches were done on databases such as Google Scholar, Sage, Proquest, Ebsco, and Cochrane, with the keywords oketani massage dan breast milk production. Results: Based on the search results found as many as 58 articles. Then after the screening stage, 9 articles were obtained for review. Based on the review, it was stated that oketani massage can increase the quantity and quality of breast milk production as measured by weighing the baby’s weight, measuring prolactin and oxytocin levels, using IBFAT questionnaire, observation sheet for breast milk production, and assessing the mother’s perception. Conclusion: Oketani massage has effectiveness in increasing breast milk production in postpartum mothers and breastfeeding mothers..

Abstract

Perubahan fisiologis dan psikologis yang lebih kompleks pada kehamilan trimester III menyebabkan kecemasan, hal ini diperparah dengan kondisi akibat pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kecemasan pada ibu hamil trimester III saat pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan korelasi analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan convenience sampling dengan sampel 73 responden di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Purwokerto Selatan. Pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan Mann-Whitney dan Korelasi Gamma. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden berusia rata-rata 28,92 tahun, lulusan Sekolah Menengah Atas (41,1%), tidak bekerja (76,7%), multigravida (69,9%), dan hamil 32-36 minggu (52,1%), Responden yang memanfaatkan pelayanan kesehatan sebanyak 90,4%, memiliki dukungan keluarga tinggi (83,6%), memiliki aktivitas fisik sedang (63%), dan tingkat kecemasan sedang (95,9%). Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga (p=0,566), aktivitas fisik (p=0,175), dan pemanfaatan pelayanan kesehatan (p=0,569) dengan tingkat kecemasan ibu hamil trimester III saat pandemi Covid-19. Dapat disimpulkan, dukungan keluarga, aktivitas fisik, dan pemanfaatan pelayanan kesehatan tidak memengaruhi kecemasan ibu hamil trimester III masa pandemi Covid-19
