Abstract

This research was conducted in the Krueng Kereuto watershedfrom October - November 2022. The objectives of this study were: to assess the suitability of land for oil palm plantations, to examine the effect of oil palm-based farming types on erosion and to analyze agrotechnology. The observation locations are on land map units 1, 3, 4, 5, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28. The research method used in this research is a survey method which consists of four stages, namely: 1) the preparation stage 2) preliminary survey stage, 3) main survey stage and 4) data analysis and results presentation stage. The results showed that the assessment of land suitability for oil palm plantations in the Krueng Keureto watershed consisted of a moderately suitable class (S2) and a marginal suitable class (S3), with the limiting factor for oxygen availability (oa), namely obstructed drainage, nutrient retention limiting factor (nr) namely base saturation, pH and C-organic and the limiting factor for erosion hazard (eh) is the slope. The results of the erosion calculation show that the highest erosion prediction value occurs in the use of mixed gardens and shrubs. The predictive value of erosion on scrub land use (SST 3, 4, 5) ranged from 11.82 - 192.04 tonnes ha-1yr-1. This value is still far above the tolerable erosion value (ETol), which is 21.50 - 24.96 tons ha-1 year-1. Erosion prediction on mixed garden land use (SST 1, 20 and 21) ranges from 27.50 - 365.38 ton ha-1 year-1, this prediction value is still above the ETol value, namely 15.50 – 20.40 tons ha-1 year-1.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of loan principal repayments and Ujrah / Mu'nah products of Rahn and Arrum Emas at Sharia Pawnshops in Lhokseumawe City. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. This research has been surveyed from 2020, where one of the loan agreements as a case study will end in 2022. The type of data used is qualitative data. The data sources used are primary data and data collection methods through direct interviews with employees, branch managers, randomly selected customers and general company data that can be accessed directly via the pawnshop link. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The research results show that every customer deciding on one of these contracts has certain considerations both in terms of the ability to pay all at once or in installments. Everything is tailored to the needs and income generated. The amount of ujrah or mu'nah determination, especially for Arrum Mas products, uses a flat calculation, where the loan principal and mu'nah are the same for each installment payment, which is 1 percent per month of the loan amount. The ujrah or mu'nah from Arrum Mas products is lower than Rahn products if the payment is calculated at maturity. Abstract

Patchouli oil is one of the country's foreign exchange earning commodities. This oil has strategic potential in the world market to be used as a fragrance binder in perfumes, cosmetics, the pharmaceutical industry, and other industries. Patchouli oil is produced through the distillation process of the patchouli plant (Pogostemon cablin Benth). However, the quality of patchouli oil produced in Indonesia is still relatively low because it is generally cultivated by traditional farmers or refiners whose quality control is very neglected. The purpose of this study was to determine the income and feasibility of Patchouli Oil production produced in the Patchouli Oil Processing Agro-industry at the Level of Village Farmers and Small and Medium Scale Agro-industry. This research was conducted in Pase Sentausa Village, Simpang Keuramat District, North Aceh Regency. Determining the location of this research was done purposively because in that area there are farmers who run patchouli farming and have a patchouli oil processing agro-industry. This research will describe the development of patchouli production. The results of the study, the net income of patchouli farmers in the patchouli oil industry business is Rp. 134,728,000. Patchouli oil industry business in producing patchouli oil with a value (R/C) > 1 of 3.55, patchouli oil refining agro-industry in Pase Sentausa Village, Simpang Keramat District, North Aceh Regency is feasible to be cultivated.
