Abstract

In order to realize the goal of education, students are required to have critical thinking skills, especially in courses that are abstract like geography. Preliminary research has been done to find that the instruments used are not oriented to critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to know the process of developing critical thinking skills assessment instruments that meet the valid criteria. This type of research is development research by following the theory of device development according to Plomp (2013). The results show that the development of the device has been done only in the preliminary stage of research and prototyping phase. In the preliminary research stage the results obtained interviews with students and lecturers about the desired learning tool. At the phase prototyping phase obtained a good form of device to measure students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis besarnya pengaruh pembelajaran bertukar pasangan dibandingkan dengan metode ceramah dalam pembelajaran.Perbedaan dari hasil belajar peserta didik antara dua sampel dapat dilihat efektif dan besarnya pengaruh sebuah model terhadap hasil belajar Besarnya pengaruh model pembelajaran dilihat menggunakan uji effect size. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelassampelyaitu kelas eksperimendan kelas kontrol.di salah satu SMP di Kota Padang.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimentdengan desain randomized pretest-posttest control group design.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwapenerapan pembelajaran bertukar pasangan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.Dilihat dari perbandingan peningkatan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dapat dikatakan bahwasanya pembelajaran bertukar pasangan lebih efektif dibandingkan pembelajaran ceramah. Hasil analisis pengaruh atau dampak sebuah metode dapat dilihat sebesar 76% proses pembelajaran bertukar pasangan ini mempengaruhi hasil belajar.

Abstract

The universe is not only the main topic in cosmology. It acts as a factor that influences the development of paradigms. Circular changes in cosmology will trigger shifts in mindset and civilization development. This circularity of progress is found in the history of human development. The research method in this paper uses a literature review of previous articles on cosmology. This paper attempts to trace these developments in a descriptive-exploratory manner. It is found that the scientific and technological progress of the current generation is affected by the Cartesian-Newtonian cosmological theory. Although it has achieved tremendous success, modern cosmology is still positivistic and has internal flaws. This can be evidenced by the criticisms arising from the same disciplines, although there are different sources from traditional cosmology. Then the change in cosmology also has an impact on other aspects of human existence, the main one being religion. These changes require that a belief is not dependent on a pattern of teaching relying on sacred texts, taking into consideration other elements previously ignored.

Abstract

The aim of the study is to examine the connection between rational thinking skills of high school students with the results of cognitive learning in cooperative learning process by providing constructive feedback. In this study used a quasi experimental method to the design of the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Before doing it, the treatment given is initial tests, and after treatment is given a final test. During the learning process observation occurs. The results showed that the relationship between rational thinking skills of students' cognitive learning outcomes of students after learning at the end of the experimental class there is a significant relationship, with a big increase learning outcomes for 0.551 of great value rational thinking skills. While in the control group there were no correlations.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui besarnya hubungan antara keterampilan berpikir rasional siswa SMA dengan hasil belajar ranah kognitif dalam proses pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pemberian constructive feedback. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Sebelum melakukan traetment diberi tes awal dan setelah dilakukan treatment diberi tes akhir. Selama proses pembelajran berlangsung dilakukan observasi proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara keterampilan berpikir rasional siswa terhadap hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa setelah akhir pembelajaran pada kelas eksperimen terdapat hubungan yang signifikan, dengan besarnya peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 0,551 dari besar nilai keterampilan berpikir rasional . Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol tidak terdapat hubungan.
