Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pola POAC dalam manajemen laboratorium di SMA Kesatuan Bangsa. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif kualitatif dan dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, serta wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen laboratorium di SMA Kesatuan Bangsa telah menerapkan pola POAC dengan baik. Fungsi planning dilakukan oleh laboran melalui kegiatan analisis kebutuhan, penentuan kebijakan, penyusunan anggaran, dan perencanaan kegiatan. Fungsi organizing meliputi proses pendelegasian tugas dan pemaparan deskripsi kerja, serta penentuan prosedur penggunaan laboratorium. Fungsi actuating meliputi proses pelibatan guru dalam pengelolaan inventaris dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran di laboratorium. Sementara itu, controlling dilakukan dengan adanya evaluasi di setiap akhir semester oleh kepala sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the POAC in laboratory management at Kesatuan Bangsa High School. This research is qualitative descriptive and is carried out using observation, documentation, and interview techniques. The results showed that laboratory management at Kesatuan Bangsa High School had implemented the POAC well. The planning function is carried out by the laboratory assistant through the activities of needs analysis, policy determination, budgeting, and activity planning. The organizing function includes the process of delegating tasks and explanation of job descriptions, as well as determining procedures of using the laboratory. The actuating function includes the process of involving teachers in lab equipment and materials management and conducting learning processes in the laboratory. Meanwhile, the controlling function is carried out with an evaluation at the end of each semester by the school principal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of extracurricular activities, especially drumband at SD Negeri Pergiwatu, which consists of the stages of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. This study uses a qualitative research stage method. Based on the research results obtained, the planning of drum band extracurricular activities is carried out through coordination meetings involving school principals, school committees, drumband extracurricular teachers, extracurricular assistant drumband teachers and class teachers. Organizing is done by forming an extracurricular activity team. Activities are carried out by utilizing available infrastructure and monitoring of drumband extracurricular activities is carried out by a supervisory team in monitoring the course of activities so that they can run according to the objectives in planning.

Abstract

Learning is an interaction between teachers and students that is influenced by various factors, including learning methods, learning strategies, and learning media. The inappropriate use of the methods, strategies, and media will influence the learning objectives, which are not being achieved optimally. The low level of activity and learning outcomes in the Economy for Class XII on Service Company Accounting material at MAN 1 Gunungkidul encouraged researchers to conduct Classroom Action Research (CAR). What was examined in the research was the learning application of applying pairs card question media, increasing students’ activity, and students’ learning outcomes. The method used was observation to determine the learning process and tests of learning outcomes. The research results indicate that there was an increase in students’ activity during the learning process. When applying question card media, at the beginning of high learning activity it was only 5%. In the first cycle, the result increased to 19%. At the end of the second cycle increased to 34.9%. The students’ average value also increased where in the initial conditions, the students who completed was 31%, in cycle 1 the students who completed was 65.5%, while in cycle 2 the students who completed was 80%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of question card media can increase Economy students’ activeness and learning outcomes on Accounting Materials for Service Companies.
