Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a practical Student Worksheet on mathematics learning within statistics material. The research method was research and development by using ADDIE namely the analysis stage, planning satge, development stage, and implementation and evaluation stages. This study was limited to the implementation stage which was conducted to look at the practicality of Student Worksheet tested on a limited basis. Based on the test results, practicality of Student Worksheet through three assessment data: the first observation data with an average 71% in a good category, the second data questionnaire responses of teachers with an average 75% in a good category, and the third data questionnaire responses of students with an average 84% in a good category. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan kaidah pencacahan titik sampel. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII SMA N 1 Bintan Timur, Kabupaten Bintan, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Tahapan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menyiapkan dan mengorganisir data kesalahan siswa untuk dianalisis. Selanjutnya proses eksplorasi dan pengkodean data untuk membangun deskripsi dan jenis kesalahan. Proses dilanjutkan dengan representasi dan interpretasi temuan jenis kesalahan siswa serta memvalidasi keakuratan temuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa jenis kesalahan mayoritas dialami siswa adalah reading dengan persentase maksimum kesalahan 66,7%, diikuti kesalahan comprehension dengan persentase maksimum kesalahan 64%. Kesalahan reading dan comprehension menunjukkan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir siswa dalam memahami permasalahan pada soal cerita matematis. Selanjutnya kesalahan transformation dengan persentase maksimum kesalahan 59,1% dan diikuti kesalahan process skill dengan persentase maksimum kesalahan 52,2%. Jenis kesalahan transformation dan process skill memperlihatkan kurangnya kemampuan kognitif siswa dalam memahami konsep untuk setiap kaidah pencacahan titik sampel yang ditemukan dalam soal. Jenis kesalahan yang paling sedikit dialami siswa adalah encoding dengan persentase maksimum kesalahan hanya 18,2%. Encoding menunjukkan ketelitian siswa menyelesaikan operasi matematika secara tertulis dengan benar berdasarkan konsep matematis yang digunakan dalam menyelesaikan soal. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study were students of class XII SMA N 1 Bintan Timur, Bintan Regency, Kepulauan Riau Province. Data collection was done by tests and interviews. Technique of data analysis was performed by preparing and organizing the data to be analyzed. Exploration and data coding were done for building description and types of errors. This process was followed by the representation and interpretation of findings about the type of student error as well as validating the accuracy of findings. The result of this research concluded based on maximum percentage of error. The first is reading with 66,7%, the second is comprehension with 64%. These two types of errors indicate low order thinking of student in understanding the problem of the questions. The third is transformation with 59,1% and then the fourth is process skill with 52,2%. Both types of student’s error showed lack cognitive ability of students to understand the rule of concept. Finally encoding with 18,2%. Encoding was concerned to show the accuracy of students working on mathematical operation in written form correctly based on the mathematical concepts used to solve the problems. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa pada pembelajaran matematika materi statistika yang praktis. Model penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE, yaitu tahap analisis, tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan, tahap implementasi, dan tahap evaluasi. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada tahap implementasi yaitu untuk melihat kepraktisan Lembar Kerja Siswa diuji coba secara terbatas. Berdasarkan hasil uji praktikalitas Lembar Kerja Siswa dengan melalui tiga data penilaian, yaitu pertama data observasi dengan rata-rata 71% kategori baik, kedua data angket respon guru dengan rata-rata 75% kategori baik, dan ketiga data angket respon siswa dengan rata-rata 84% katagori baik. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Buku Ajar atau Bahan Ajar untuk mata kuliah Statistika Pendidikan berbasis inkuiri yang valid dan praktis. Ini dilakukan untuk membantu agar proses pembelajaran di masa new normal menjadi lebih baik dan efektif dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (develop). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis untuk validasi dan praktikalitas Buku Ajar berbasis inkuiri. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan Lembar Validasi, dan Angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Buku Ajar berbasis Inkuiri valid dari segi didaktik, isi, bahasa, dan keterbacaan. Selain itu hasil uji praktikalitas buku ajar berbasis inkuiri yang dikembangkan juga praktis dari segi sikap, pengetahuan, dan kemandirian.

Abstract

In the new normal, learning is carried out online. For this reason, educators must be able to package the learning activity interactively so that students have the motivation to learn. The inquiry method facilitates students to be active in learning. Students are guided through the questions arranged in the Worksheet. Therefore, this study aims to develop an Inquiry-Based Student Worksheet in the Introduction to Mathematical Statistics in the New Normal Era. The development model used is 4D with the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, the stages of this article are defined and designed. The instrument used in the define stage is a questionnaire. The results at the define stage are that teaching materials are needed to help students find concepts, and the Student Worksheets are one of the teaching materials that have a good impact on learning.

Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials in the Geometry of Plane and Space course integrated with the maritime context of the Riau Islands. This research is a solution to problems arising from a need for teaching materials to the characteristics of students in the Mathematics Education Department of UMRAH. The 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate) is used as the research development model. The research has reached the final activity of the Development stage, namely the practicality test of textbooks produced. The instrument used in the practicality test is a practicality questionnaire with a Likert scale. The evaluation results show that the textbooks produced through this development research have met the applicable criteria for use as teaching materials, with an achievement level of 72,85%. Thus, the textbook produced with the title Plane and Space Geometry Textbook has met the practical to use as teaching material in the Geometry of Plane and Space course. Integrating the maritime context of the Riau Islands helps students connect the content of teaching materials with their daily life. It helps them more easily understand the new knowledge.
