Abstract

ABSTRACT  Characteristics of land consisting of soil characteristics, topography, climate and vegetation. This study aims to investigate the characteristics of climate and vegetation around the tourist sites Batu Dinding South Minahasa regency. This research uses descriptive quantitative method which consists of a field survey. Variable Climate observations comprise elements are rainfall and the state of vegetation. The results showed that the average monthly rainfall highest in January and December for the last 5 years from 2012 to 2016 with the tropical rainy climate that have monthly rainfall > 60 mm. The state of the vegetation around the site Batu Dinding has INP value is highest on the type of plant vegetation Coconut by 33.37%, which is the main constituent of plant communities in Batu Dinding.  Keywords: Characteristics of Land, Climate, Vegetation, Batu Dinding

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research was conducted around the site of the final processing site (TPA) of Sumompo Manado municipal waste, with the aim to analyze the water quality around the Sumompo TPA site. Benefits of research that can provide information to the community and local government about the quality of water around the Site TPA waste, including: Groundwater quality, surface water and leachate. The research was conducted using survey method and the data was analyzed by desktritif, tabelaris and garif. TPA sampling point using GPS (Global Position System), and determination of sampling point by purposive sampling technique. The parameters observed through physical, chemical and microbiological aspects. The results showed that the total coliform parameters for springs, wells and boreholes respectively were 17, 27 and 2 APM / 100ml, which means exceeding the quality standard of water in accordance with Permenkes N0. 492 of 2010. The quality of leachate river water with BOD parameters 110 mg / l, COD 323 mg / l, TDS 1830 mg / l, and Nitrate 13.10 mg / l which has exceeded the quality standard according to class II based on PP. No. 82 in 2001. Leachate quality of inlet leachate and leachate drainage with COD, TDS and Nitrate parameters were 898 mg / l, 4130 mg / l and 111.01 mg / l and 334 mg / l, 5170 mg / l, respectively, L and 144.6 mg / l exceeding the leachate effluent quality standard. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pupuk organik kompos terhadappertumbuhan pakcoy pada tanah marginal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Kaca FakultasPertanian, untuk percobaan pot dan untuk analisa tanah, pupuk organik kompos dilakukan diLaboratorium Kimia dan Kesuburan Tanah Jurusan Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Unsrat Manado.Pelaksanaan penelitian ini akan berlangsung selama 6 bulan. Alat dan bahan yang digunakan dilapangan yaitu sekop, karung, ayakan pasir, mistar, alat tulis menulis, kamera, timbangan, benihpakcoy, polibag, air, pupuk organik kompos. Alat dan bahan yang digunakan dalamLaboratorium tercantum dalam metode analisis: pH, Nitrogen (Metode Kjedahl), Fosfor (MetodeBray I), Kalium (Metode Bray I), C-organik (Metode Walkley and Black).Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap, tiapperlakuan dicampur pasir dengan 3 kali ulangan sehingga diperoleh 12 pot percobaan dan terdiridari 4 perlakuan 3 ulangan. Analisis dengan menggunakan sidik ragam dan jika ada pengaruhnyata dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT 5%.Hasil penelitian diperoleh kandungan hara pada marginal adalah sangat rendah. Hasilanalisis sidik ragam diperoleh tidak adanya pengaruh yang nyata pemberian pupuk komposterhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun selama 5 minggu pengamatan, namun cenderungmeningkat dengan pemberian pupuk kompos. Pengaruh yang nyata terlihat pada berat segartanaman. Hasil uji lanjut menunjukkan adanya perbedaaan yang nyata antara perlakuanpemberian pupuk kompos.Kata kunci:Tanah Marginal,Kompos,Pakcoy.
