Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis dan motivasi siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan menerapkan lemang Aceh berbasis game matematika online daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Pembelajaran konvensional dalam penelitian ini yakni pembelajaran yang tidak menerapkan lemang Aceh berbasis game matematika online. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX SMPN Arun Lhokseumawe yang terdiri atas lima kelas. Sebagai sampel terpilih kelas IX C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan IXB sebagai kelas kontrol. Pemilihan sampel dengan menggunakan tehnik random sampling class, dimana sampel yang dipilih mewakili populasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan representasi matematis, angket motivasi dan lembar observasi dengan terlebih dahulu semua instrumen diukur nilai validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda dan tingkat kesukaran butir soal tes. Analisis data diawali dengan menguji persyaratan statistik yang diperlukan sebagai acuan dalam pengujian hipotesis antara lain uji normalitas dan homogenitas, selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah dirumuskan. Seluruh perhitungan menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel 2010 dan program SPSS 17. Hasil dari pelaksanaan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan banyak manfaat bagi siswa SMP sederajat, guru dan sekolah sebagai penunjang peningkatan mutu pendidikan dalam proses belajar mengajar matematika. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) penerapan lemang Aceh berbasis game matematika online untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran secara konvensional; (2) penerapan lemang Aceh berbasis game matematika online untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran secara konvensional.

Abstract

Abstrak: Toksoplasmosis merupakan suatu penyakit pada manusia dan hewan yang disebabkan oleh parasit toksoplasma gondi. Penyebaran toksoplasmosis dapat dilakukan secara vertikal maupun horizontal. Penyebaran vertikal terjadi melalui ibu kepada anak sedangkan horizontal melalui lingkungan dan memakan makanan yang mentah. Lingkungan yang sanitasinya kurang memadai  serta kebiasaan masyarakat memakan daging yang mentah mengakibatkan individu terinfeksi toksoplasmosis. Kebiasaan masyarakat Aceh dalam mengkonsumsi daging menjadi salah satu potensi terinfeksinya toksoplasmosis sehingga diperlukan sosialisasi dan kajian terkait pengendalian epidemi toksoplasmosis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkonstruksi model matematika epidemi toksoplasmosis yang mengacu pada masyarakat di wilayah Lhokseumawe. Model matematika dikonstruksi kedalam bentuk persamaan diferensial tak linier kemudian dianalisis kestabilan dari masing-masing titik kesetimbangan serta dilakukan penentuan bilangan reproduksi dasar untuk melihat tingkat penyebaran penyakit. Simulasi model menunjukkan bahwa ketika tidak adanya penyebaran penyakit toksoplasmosis maka tidak ada individu yang terinfeksi sedangkan ketika terjadinya penyebaran toksoplasmosis mengakibatkan jumlah populasi yang terinfeksi meningkat dan kemudian menurun dikarenakan jumlah populasi terkontrol ikut meningkat sehingga penyakit toksoplasmosis dapat hilang dari lingkungan. Abstract:  Toxoplasmosis is a disease in humans and animals which is caused by the parasite called toxoplasma gondi. The spread of toxoplasmosis can be done vertically or horizontally. Vertical spread occurs through mother and child, while horizontally through the environment and eating raw food. The inadequate sanitary environment and the community's habit of eating raw meat make the people infected by toxoplasmosis. The Acehnese habit in consuming meat is one of the potential infections of toxoplasmosis, so it is necessary to disseminate information and studies related to epidemic control of toxoplasmosis. This study aims to construct system differential non linear an epidemic mathematical model of toxoplasmosis that refers to people in Lhokseumawe area. The mathematical model constructed then analyzed the stability of each model equilibrium point and carried out the determination of basic reproduction numbers to see the extent of the spread of the disease. Simulation shows that when there is no spread of toxoplasmosis, no individual is infected. Whereas when the spread of toxoplasmosis happened, so the number of infected population increases and then decreases because the controlled population increases and toxoplasmosis can be disappeared from the environment.

Abstract

This article aims to look at the dynamics of the toxoplasmosis epidemic with the effect of vaccination by increasing and decreasing the birth rate of infected with toxoplasmosis. The method used in this research is literature study and continued by using numerical simulation analysis. The research procedure used in this study is to simulate and analyze the parameters that affect the population. Some of the data used are secondary data on toxoplasmosis sufferers obtained from the Banda Aceh Health Office in 2018. From the numerical simulation results of the toxoplasmosis epidemic model with the vaccination effect, it was found that when the birth rate was infected with toxoplasmosis increased by at 5% then the number of individuals infected with toxoplasmosis, controlled individuals and the number of vaccinated individuals increases with the basic reproductive number Ro > 1. In this condition, there are no individuals who are susceptible to toxoplasmosis again so that vaccination for susceptible individuals can quickly overcome the spread of toxoplasmosis. Furthermore, the rate of births infected with toxoplasmosis decreases of 5% is obtained search population in the toxoplasmosis epidemic model has decreased with the basic reproduction number Ro <1. In this condition, the number of individuals in each population has decreased, resulting in the spread of toxoplasmosis disappeared from the population. So that this research can contribute to health science and the government in overcoming the toxoplasmosis epidemic.

Abstract

The toxoplasmosis epidemic is an infectious disease caused by the parasitic Toxoplasma Gondii. This disease attacks the human immune system and other organs in the body, resulting in damage to tissues. The spread of the disease is carried out in various ways, one of them is eating foods that are less hygienic or not cooked properly, resulting in parasites remain active. Provision of controlled therapy is one solution in controlling the epidemic against suppression of the birth rate infected with toxoplasmosis. This study discusses the bifurcation analysis of a mathematical model for controlling the toxoplasmosis epidemic. Bifurcation analysis is carried out on the controlled rate and rate of birth control of toxoplasmosis. From the mathematical model of controlling the toxoplasmosis epidemic, stability and existence analysis are performed at each equilibrium point. Next, a function of two independent parameters is constructed which influences the spread of the disease, namely the controlled rate and the rate of infected births. Then, a bifurcation analysis of each region is obtained from each function of the two free parameters. From the bifurcation analysis, three regional conditions were obtained which showed the dynamics of the toxoplasmosis epidemic of two independent parameters with each interpretation of the bifurcation region.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the activity and learning outcome of the eighth grade students of Al-Ulum Islamic school Medan through the TAPPS learning strategy based on STEM education. The research method was a classroom action research as much as two cycles. Each cycle consisted of 4 stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data analysis technique was a descriptive analysis model. Data collection methods were observation and tests. The results showed that the implementation of using the STEM-based TAPPS learning strategy could improve learning activity of the eighth grade student of Al-Ulum Islamic school Medan on the subject of geometry flat side (Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar). This was shown by the percentage of group activity of students in the cycle I was 50.71% or in a good category, the percentage of student group activity in the cycle II was 85.04% or in an excellent category. Thus, the enhancement of students' learning activity using the TAPPS learning strategy based on STEM education could also improve students' learning outcome. This was shown by the percentage of learning mastery in the cycle I was 65,6255% or in the criteria of learning mastery was achieved but it was still classified as low and the percentage of learning mastery, in the cycle II was 90,625% or in the criteria of leaening mastery was achieved. The conclusion of this study is the use of TAPPS-based STEM education learning strategy can improve the activity and learning outcome of students. Abstract

The aim of this research to analyze the improvement of mathematical representation ability students who learning using online mathematics games better than conventionally of junior high school students in Lhokseumawe. The research method is quantitative of quasi experimental method. The population is all grade VIII students at SMPN Negeri 2 Lhokseumawe, SMP Negeri 3 Lhokseumawe, SMP Swasta Sukma Bangsa Lhokseumawe. Sample selection using random sampling class technique. The research instruments used form of representation test and observation sheet. Data analysis begins with a test of normality and homogeneity, the data is analyzed using t-tests of the hypotheses that have been formulated. Abstract

Analisis sensitivitas model epidemi toksoplasmosis dengan efek vaksinasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perubahan nilai parameter terhadap nilai basic reproduction number (Ro). hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  terdapat dua titik ekuilibrium  yaitu titik ekuilibrium bebas penyakit dan titik ekuilibrium endemi. Hasil analisis sensitivitas menunjukan bahwa   laju kelahiran yang terinfeksi toksoplasmosis dan Laju individu terinfeksi toksoplasmosis yang tervaksinasi merupakan parameter yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap basic reproduction number. Kondisi tersebut diperoleh Ketika dilakukan peningkatan pada laju kelahiran yang terinfeksi toksoplasmosis mengakibatkan basic reproduction number meningkat, begitupun sebaliknya. Sementara itu, ketika dilakukan peningkatan pada  Laju individu terinfeksi toksoplasmosis yang tervaksinasi mengakibatkan basic reproduction number menurun. Hasil ini mengimplikasikan bahwa tingkat pemberian vaksin toksoplasmosis bagi individu yang terinfeksi memiliki pengaruh yang sangat besar dalam pengendalian penyakit toksoplasmosis d Banda Aceh.
