Abstract

The first and the most important education for seminarians happens in their family. Unfortunately, there are some parents who don’t realize their significant role on their children education because they let they children to have their education on school and Church. Parents can give support as well as obstacles for their children who want to continue their education in seminary. Parents shape the basic personal character and religios life for their children, while seminary only improve their consiciousness of their identity as candidate of priest which has emerged since their life in their family. That is the reason why parents must realize and maximize their important role to recognize the character of their children, to provide understanding and motivation, and to prepare their children before enter seminary.

Abstract

Background: Education is part of human rights for all human beings. Nowadays education is dealing with various social phenomena such as "flood of information" and "hoaxes" so students experience confusion in going through the educational process. Inspired by Ki Hadjar Dewantara's educational concept, educators can utilize Information and Communication Technology to provide facilities, coordination, and support for students. Objective: This study describes the condition of education, especially in the field of technology during the Revolutionary era. Methods: Researchers used a qualitative approach with descriptive research. Results: The need for increased information on students by utilizing technology, especially information technology. Conclusion: Increasing information will become a dynamic in the academic environment, especially in the lives of students.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini di latar belakangi oleh kesulitan dalam mengajar di era pandemi yang membuat para guru harus mengadaptasi seluruh kegiatan belajar mengajar menjadi daring. Adaptasi pembelajaran secara daring menjadi tantangan tersendiri khususnya bagi guru TK AL-Islam Tambak Bayan. Siswa TK masih belum bisa memahami kompleksitas yang ada pada pembelajaran secara daring. Oleh karena itu, banyak metode yang kurang cocok dan ketidakmampuan guru dalam menerapkan teknologi informasi dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hal ini menyebabkan kegiatan belajar mengajar menjadi seadanya saja sehingga tidak dapat berjalan dengan baik. Tujuan pengabdian ini yakni untuk membantu serta melatih guru TK AL-Islam Tambak Bayan dalam menyajikan materi pembelajaran melalui video animasi yang menarik sehingga siswa TK memiliki kemauan untuk belajar. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pelatihan dan pembuatan video pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Animaker, untuk kemudian video tersebut dapat diakses secara daring. Hasil yang didapatkan dari pengabdian ini adalah para guru TK AL-Islam Tambak Bayan mampu memahami fitur dan cara menggunakan Animaker serta dapat membuat video pembelajaran animasi yang menarik dan mudah dipahami bagi murid TK.

Abstract

Is education on theological virtues and moral virtues still relevant to help victims of sexual violence? This article was written to see the importance of education on theological and moral virtues to help victims of sexual violence. The method used for research includes descriptive qualitative research which is carried out by combining field research and literature. Based on the research conducted, it was found that all respondents stated that education on theological virtues and moral virtues was still relevant to helping sufferers because of sexual violence. Therefore, a concept of personal theological and moral virtue is needed as a strategy to maintain and develop the integrity of creation and to experience oneself as the image of God.

Abstract

Tulisan ini dimulai dengan pemahaman umum tentang spiritualitas ekologis. Bagian selanjutnya menguraikan gambaran spiritualitas ekologis dalam agama-agama di Indonesia: Islam, Kristen, Hindu, Buddha, Konghucu, dan Agama Asli. Dokumen ensiklik "Laudato Si" oleh Paus Fransiskus mewakili pandangan Katolik. Dilanjutkan dengan penerapan spiritualitas ekologis di Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY) berdasarkan wawancara dengan Prof. Ir. Ignatius Pramana Yuda, M.Si. Ph.D., dan angket mahasiswa. Penelitian ini gabungan kuantitatif dan kualitatif, memanfaatkan kuesioner, wawancara narasumber, dan kepustakaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring dan wawancara dengan Prof. Ignatius Pramana Yuda sebagai narasumber utama. Hasil penelitian melibatkan 147 mahasiswa UAJY dari berbagai agama. Mayoritas Katolik (44,9%), Kristen Protestan (41,5%), dan Islam (10,2%). Mayoritas responden menganggap diri mereka religius (76,9%) dan memahami ajaran agama (87,1%). Sebagian besar merasakan pengaruh ajaran agama terhadap sikap lingkungan (82,9%), tetapi sedikit yang membaca "Laudato Si" (28,6%). UAJY bertujuan menjadi "Universitas Laudato Si". Kebijakan dan kegiatan yang dijalankan, seperti Smart Water System, efisiensi energi, dan materi perkuliahan, menunjukkan komitmen UAJY terhadap tujuan tersebut. Melalui pertobatan ekologis, agama memainkan peran penting dalam merawat lingkungan. "Laudato Si" dan komitmen UAJY adalah contoh nyata penerapan spiritualitas ekologis dalam tindakan nyata, mencerminkan tanggung jawab manusia terhadap ciptaan Tuhan

Abstract

Throw-away culture is a living habit of modern society that views goods as having a relatively short period of use without any desire or effort to recycle or extend the period of use. In this culture, things are easily seen as useless, needing to be replaced by something else, the newest and most updated. This phenomenon received special attention from Pope Francis in his encyclicals, especially Laudato Si, which contains the Church’s Social Teaching, namely “preferential options for the poor”. This ‘disposable’ culture is one of the roots of the environmental crisis, which also has an impact on the social crisis. Why might the “disposable culture” have an impact on the social crisis? Through qualitative research using literature analysis techniques, researchers will answer this main question from the ethical perspective of Laudato Si through three main studies, namely Laudato Si, ‘disposable culture’, and the social crisis in modern society.
