Abstract

Bullying has become a serious issue in educational institutions. Bullying causes significant negative effects on physical, social, and psychological aspects. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of self-esteem on resilience. We also analyzed the resilience differences between male and female students. Through a cross-sectional study design, 86 students participated in completing a survey. The Multidimensional Peer-Victimization Scale developed by Mynard & Joseph was used to determine respondents who were victims of bullying. Furthermore, The Brief Resilience Scale (BRS) and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSE) were used to measure resilience and self-esteem. The data analysis technique used to reveal the difference in resilience of bullying victims between males and females is the independent sample t-test. Furthermore, simple regression is used to test the influence of self-esteem on resilience. The results showed that students' self-esteem and resilience were moderate. There was a significant difference in resilience between male and female students, with males having higher resilience than females. Testing also proved that there is an influence of self-esteem on students' resilience. This study has implications for the importance of addressing bullying in schools. Furthermore, psychological interventions through counseling services can be implemented to improve resilience.

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of the times, at the same time the construction industry has also grown rapidly. Along with the development of that era, the technology and construction methods in the world are increasingly developing. This also applies in Indonesia, construction methods in Indonesia are also developing. One form of the development of construction methods in Indonesia is the precast construction method. This study aims to determine how much the costs and how long it takes to implement the Cast In Situ and Precast Methods of columns and beams. The method used in this research is a quantitative method using the calculation of SNI 7394: 2008 "concerning the procedure for calculating the unit price of concrete work for building and housing construction" and SNI 7832 - 2012 "concerning the procedure for calculating the unit price of precast concrete work for building construction. building".From the research results, it is found that the overall budget plan for the application of column and beam structures using conventional concrete methods is Rp. 973,127,521.20. And the overall budget plan for the application of column and beam structures using the Precast concrete method is Rp. 1,317,764,550. From the calculation results, it was found that the analysis of the duration of working on the column and beam structures on floors 1-3 with the conventional concrete method was 223 days, while for the analysis of the duration of working on the column and beam structure with the precast concrete method was 202 days. In this study, it can be concluded that the difference in price between the conventional concrete method and precast concrete is IDR 344,637,029.27 or the precast concrete method is 26% more expensive than the conventional concrete method, with a difference in processing time of 21 days, or implementation The precast method is 21 days faster than the conventional concrete method.

Abstract

The success of the learning process cannot be separated from the teacher's ability to develop learning models or strategies that are oriented towards increasing the intensity of student involvement effectively in the learning process. However, there are still teachers who have difficulty making lesson plans and require quite a long time allocation. And it is also difficult for teachers to prepare for authentic assessment in the aspects of attitudes, knowledge and skills using various assessment rubrics. This study used qualitative research methods. The key informants in this research were the school principal, teachers and students. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis consists of Data Reduction, Data Display and Verification and Drawing Conclusions. Research Results (1) Teacher readiness in preparing independent learning learning plans. It was found that teachers were not ready for an independent curriculum by preparing learning tools; (2) the teacher's physical condition is not ready, where it is difficult for the teacher to carry out all components of the independent curriculum; (3) mental and emotional conditions that teachers are not ready for, seen from the teacher's point of view, many of them are carried away by the implementation of the 2013 curriculum; (4) in terms of needs, it is in accordance with the needs of students; (5) teacher skills require mature readiness in their application.

Abstract

The issue of nationalism encompasses various challenges and conflicts that arise in the context of nationalism, which is a sense of love and pride for one's country and national identity. Low levels of nationalism are also observed among students. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of the Character Education group format in enhancing nationalism. We employed a quasi-experimental research design, utilizing a pretest-posttest control group design. A total of 30 students affiliated with the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIM) in one of the Madrasah Aliyah schools in Sungai Penuh City participated in the study. The respondents were divided into two groups, namely the experimental and control groups. The scale used in this research was a nationalism scale developed by the researcher. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov 2 Independent Samples Test. The research results indicate that the attitudes of students in both the experimental and control groups toward nationalism were categorized as moderate, both in the pre-test and post-test. However, the study revealed a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results in the experimental group. Further testing also demonstrated a difference in post-test results between the experimental and control groups. These findings have important implications for the improvement and development of character education curricula in schools. The research also underscores the importance of a holistic approach to character education that encompasses social, emotional, and moral aspects.
