Gaguritan Jaé Cekuh sebuah geguritan bermotif panji merupakan karya menggunakan nama tokoh yang unik, dengan nama-nama bumbu yang berganti di pertengahan cerita. Isi dari geguritan menarik untuk dibahas karena mengandung penyadaran yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Tulisan ini menerapkan teori semiotika yang membantu mengungkapkan fungsi dan makna éling dalam geguritan. Fungsi dalam Geguritan Jaé Cekuh diungkapkan melalui model yang terdapat dalam geguritan, sedangkan makna diungkapkan melalui varian yang terkandung dalam geguritan. Dengan melihat tingkat kehadiran fungsi dan makna Gaguritan Jaé Cekuh adalah penyadaran dalam melakukan kewajiban, penyadaran bertingkah laku serta pengendalian diri yang berguna di masyarakat.

Novel 728 Hari Ibu Jembatanmu Menuju Surga by Djono W.Oesman was chosen as research data for several reasons. First, because this novel is a best seller. Second, this novel tells the true story of a person. Third, this novel has many useful references to morality. The analysis of this resersch uses structural theory and moral value theory as formulated by Burhan Nurgiyantoro’s. Structural theory discusses the object of research in the intrinsic elements that build and literary work, among others, characterization, plot, and setting. Moral value theory is uused analyze the morality contained in the novel. The method used in this research is the library research method with reading, listening, and note taking techniques. Then, the data were analyzed using the analytical descriptive method. The results of this study consist of two parts. First, the structure of the novel 728 Hari:IJMS, the characters in the novel are the main character, Eva Meliana Santi, and additional characters, namely Sugiarti, Badarudin, Ryantori Ahmad, and Winantyo Adi Tamtomo (Nanan). The flow used consisnts of three stages, namely the initial stages, the middle stages, and the final stages. The setting of this novel is divided into three, namely place setting, time setting, and social setting. Second, the morality contained in the novel 728 Hari:IJMS and the moral of the main character in dealing with life’s problems.

This research is entitled "Reproductive Health and Patriarchal Culture in the Novel Bulan Patah by Maria Maltidis Banda". The purpose of this study was to determine the structural elements which include grooves; characterizations; and setting, to reveal aspects of reproductive health in a patriarchal culture in the novel Bulan Patah by Maria Matildis Banda, and to reveal the meaning of filial piety in the novel Bulan Patah. The theory used in this research is the theory of structure and the theory of sociology of literature which includes reproductive health and public health. This study uses qualitative data. The data collection method used is the literature study method. The process of data analysis used the descriptive qualitative method. The data sources of this research are primary data and secondary data. The results of this study, namely the plot in the novel Bulan Patah are divided into three stages, namely the initial, middle, and final stages. The main character in this novel is Midwife Rosa Dalima, while the secondary character is Om Saver. The complementary characters in this novel are Rachel and Retha. The setting in this novel is the setting of the place, setting of time, and setting of atmosphere. In this study, it was found that the aspects of reproductive health were weak without the treatment of a doctor or midwife, and weak physical and social conditions, due to the influence of patriarchal culture in Bulan Patah Novel. In addition, this study also found that the role of Midwife Rosa Dalima in the novel Bulan Patah was related to the meaning of filial piety for health development.

This research uses the poetry anthology Cara-Cara Tidak Kreatif Untuk Mencintai as an object which is studied from a stylistic perspective. The poetry anthology Cara-Cara Tidak Kreatif Untuk Mencintai was chosen as the research object because it contains a lot of diction for expressing love. The analysis in this research includes analysis of the physical structure of poetry, the inner structure of poetry, and stylistic analysis related to the diction of love statements contained in the poetry anthology Cara-Cara Tidak Kreatif Untuk Mencintai. The theories used are Aminuddin's stylistic theory and Herman Waluyo's structural theory of poetry. The method used in collecting data is using the library study method with reading, listening and note-taking techniques. The method used is descriptive analytic. Based on the analysis, the following results were obtained. First, the poems that have been analyzed consist of diction, figurative meaning, symbols, images, figures of speech, themes, feelings, tone and atmosphere, and different messages. Second, the stylistics of expressing love used by poets in their poems does not mean to fatally violate norms in the use of communication language. The poet's style of language in conveying his thoughts and ideas is a personal characteristic that the poet is a free spirit.

The social setting in the novel Rentang Kisah by Gita Savitri Devi tells the story of Gita's life living the lecture period abroad alone, behind it is also told about the spiritual journey of the main character in rediscovering Islam. the novel Rentang Kisah was chosen as the object of research because this novel contains a lot of learning and motivation about the world of lectures and religion, especially Islam. this study aims to analyze: (1) the structure of the novel based on plot, character, and setting. (2) describe in detail about the social setting. The theories used in this research are (1) Teeuw's structural theory, and (2) Nurgiyantoro's social setting. the methods used for data collection are reading, and note-taking techniques. then the results are analyzed using descriptive qualitative. The results of this study consist of two parts, namely structural studies and social settings. First, the structural study of the novel Rentang Kisah has three stages of the plot in the story by using a mixed plot (forward-backward), including the initial stage, middle stage, and final stage. The social setting in the novel Rentang Kisah by Gita Savitri Devi includes Gita's life from looking for dreams and passions that match the college she will choose. In the end, Gita decided to study in Berlin, Germany. The social environment in the novel is the city of Berlin, Germany.The author tells the story of Jakarta, which has undergone some changes after two years of Gita's absence.
