Abstract

The problem in this study is the low level of social factors and learning environment on student’s understanding of mathematical concepts. The purpose of this study is to describe the significant relationship between social factors and learning environment on student’s understanding of mathematical concepts. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlationa method. The sampling technique used is total sampling technique where all members of the population are sampled, so the sample is 60 students. The research instrument is a questionaire with 42 statement and 2 test item. Based on the analysis, the data is not normally distributed and has a linear pattern. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is the Spearman Rank correlation, for the significance test using the F test, followed by the coeffisient of determination formula. Data analysis shows that or 122.72 > 3.172 then is rejected and is accepted. So it can concluded that there is a significant relationship between social factors and learning environment on students understanding of mathematical concepts of class X Clothing SMK N 1 Merangin.

Abstract

This study aims to describe that the understanding of mathematical concepts using the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model using teaching aids is better than conventional learning. This study uses an experimental method with a population of all students of class VIII of SMP N 1 Merangin in the 2023/2024 academic year consisting of 8 classes and totaling 209 people. The selected sample was class VIII A as the experimental class and VIII D as the control class. The analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is the z-test because the data is normally distributed and the variance is not homogeneous. Based on the analysis of the final test in the experimental class, an average of 44.37 was obtained, while in the control class an average of 33.19 was obtained. The results of the hypothesis test were obtained using a linear regression test, the value of Y = 6.970 + 0.412x was obtained. In the calculation of the significant test, the calculated f value = 22.316 and f table with a significance level of 0.05 because the two-tailed test then df (N1) = 1 and df (N2) = 51 then F table = 4.03. Based on the calculation results, it was obtained that the calculated f value> F table, namely 22.316> 4.03, then H0 was rejected, which means that there is a significant influence between students' understanding of mathematical concepts using the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model using teaching aids in class VIII students of SMPN 1 Merangin in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

The initial basis of the research was carried out because of the low mathematical scores of students, which was caused by the lack of student motivation in learning because learning still used the lecture method. The study aims to describe the results of learning mathematics using the Cooperative Learning Model Type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) at SMPN Negeri 23 Merangin Academic Year 2024/2025. This study uses classroom action research (CAR) which was carried out for 2 cycles, each cycle 3 meetings, the research sample was 31 students of class VIII B SMPN Negeri 23 Merangin and focused on learning outcomes and student activities in class. The results of the study showed that in the pre-cycle, 35% (11 people) achieved the specified KKTP, which was ≥75, after implementing the Cooperative method type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI), the student's grades obtained increased, in the first cycle an increase was obtained to 74.20% (23 people), because it had not reached the KKTP so it was declared incomplete. The research continued in cycle II and obtained mathematics learning outcomes of 87.09% (27 students) who completed the learning according to the KKTP. For student activity, the percentage increased from 71% to 83%, an increase of 12%. From these results, the Cooperative Model of the Team Assisted Individualization type was proven to increase grades, especially in class VIII A of SMP Negeri 23 Merangin.

Abstract

Digital media is now an important medium used in every society. Digital media has become a modern lifestyle; apart from that, it has helped everyone carry out their routines. Individuals, organizations, and even governments have never been separated from activities using digital media. The method of implementing community service is through three stages: Observation, Discussion, and Counseling. The objectives to be achieved from this activity are to help PKK women in Tanjung Rejo Village use social media and the internet wisely to support the creation of a healthy internet in the community. The benefits of this activity are that Tanjung Rejo Village PKK mothers can be more careful when using the internet, which can be used effectively and efficiently to monitor their children's internet use

Abstract

The utilization of facilities and infrastructure at the Integral Institute Tutoring Institute, Sungai Ulak District, Nalo Tantan District, Merangin Regency is the focus of this research. This research aims to determine how the facilities and infrastructure at the madrasah are utilized to improve the quality of learning and provide recommendations for optimizing their utilization. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to understand in detail the utilization of facilities and infrastructure at the Integral Institute Tutoring Institute, Sungai Ulak District, Nalo Tantan District, Merangin Regency. The results of the research are expected to assist the institution's management in planning the development of more effective facilities and infrastructure and improving the quality of learning. In addition, this research can be an example for other tutoring institutions in optimizing the utilization of educational facilities and infrastructure. Although the Integral Institute Tutoring Institute, Sungai Ulak District, Nalo Tantan District, Merangin Regency does not yet have complete facilities and infrastructure and internet access, there is still great potential to improve the quality of learning through optimal utilization of existing facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to provide a deeper understanding of the utilization of facilities at the Integral Institute Tutoring Center in Sungai Ulak District, Nalo Tantan Regency, Merangin Regency, and how this utilization can be improved to achieve better learning quality. This research is also expected to serve as a reference for other madrasahs in optimizing the use of educational facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This research was motivated by problems in the activities of utilizing house yards carried out by the Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Sungai Putih Village, namely the lack of maintenance of the Bumdes yard and village hall, low interest and participation of KWT Sungai Putih, as well as problems with the plants in their respective yards. each member of KWT Sungai Putih. The aim of this research is the process of empowering women farmer groups (KWT) in Sungai Putih Village. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The main target in empowering women farmer groups is women farmers in Sungai Putih Village. In this research, groups of women farmers were able to plant vegetable crops by utilizing yard land in Sungai Putih Village. Apart from that, through empowering this group of women farmers, which is a forum for communication between fellow women farmers and can improve the family economy. In implementing KWT activities, Sungai Putih faced internal and external obstacles. Internal obstacles include low participation in implementing activities, low enthusiasm for planting in their respective yards, lack of motivation, and lack of benefit from this activity. Meanwhile, external obstacles include problems in the nursery, lack of communication between PPL and KWT.

Abstract

Economic empowerment is an effort to improve people's welfare through activities to increase capacity and independence by involving the community and stakeholders to realize community welfare. Through the utilization of existing natural resources is a form of empowerment based on local potential which strongly supports community development. Good management of natural resources can improve the welfare of local communities. The purpose of this study was to find out how the process of empowering the community's economy through the utilization of natural resources in the village of Sinar Gading. This research uses descriptive and qualitative methods. This research shows that community economic empowerment through the utilization of natural resources in the village of Sinar Gading through the formation of tofu production is very influential in changing the community's economy. Where through this empowerment, the community can developt.
