Abstract

The lecturer payroll management system using the gross up method is a method for calculating lecturer salaries in which the income tax that must be paid by the lecturer is added to the lecturer's gross salary, so that the amount of income tax that must be paid is the responsibility of the university or institution where the lecturer is located. Work. In its application, the gross up system makes it easier to calculate and pay lecturer salaries because the institution where the lecturer works will bear the costs of the lecturer's income tax. In this case, the institution will calculate the lecturer's income tax first, then add the tax amount to the lecturer's gross salary so that the lecturer receives a net salary which has been calculated and includes income tax costs. The system was designed using UML UML which includes use case diagrams, activity diagrams and sequence diagrams, and was built using Larvel version 10 and for the database using MySQL. It is hoped that with this system the tax burden will decrease and lecturers' take home pay will increase.

Abstract

The recording of transactions and installments in Indonesia's property business still largely relies on manual spreadsheet-based methods, which are prone to data loss, recording errors, and limited accessibility. This study aims to design and develop a Sharia-Based Property Transaction and Installment Journal Information System to improve recording efficiency and ensure compliance with Sharia principles in property sales transactions. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, utilizing Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) for modeling, along with MySQL and CodeIgniter as the development platform. Testing using the Black Box Testing method demonstrated that key features, such as transaction journal recording, chart of account management, installment payments, and transaction monitoring, function effectively. The study results indicate that this system can enhance transaction recording efficiency, simplify installment payment tracking, and ensure that all financial processes comply with Sharia standards. By implementing this system, Sharia-compliant property businesses are expected to manage their finances more transparently, securely, and efficiently.

Abstract

Along with the advancement of information and communication technology, particularly internet and web technologies, STMIK Bandung has implemented an Information System for New Student Admissions (PMB). Although this system has provided various benefits, the lack of separation between the Front-End and Back-End code structures in the current PMB application has led to limitations in scalability and performance optimization. When traffic increases, it becomes difficult to scale the Back-End infrastructure without affecting Front-End performance. As a solution, the development of a PMB system based on the Single Page Application (SPA) architecture is proposed. SPA enables a website to load only the necessary components based on user interactions instead of reloading the entire page, significantly improving speed and responsiveness. The software development methodology used in this project is Agile. By implementing SPA, STMIK Bandung can optimize user experience, enhance system stability, and simplify the software development and maintenance process. The research results show that the implementation of SPA not only modernizes the PMB system but also increases efficiency and convenience for users.
