Abstract

The era of technology that continues to grow makes all work in life easier and more efficient. These developments have an impact on the world of education which innovates to create a learning style that can do learning whenever and wherever we want without the limitations of place and time with the help of technology called E-Learning. A website that functions as an E-Learning supporter is called a Learning Management System (LMS). Sriwijaya University already has an LMS called Sriwijaya University E-Learning. There are some problems and difficulties encountered in using E-Learning of Sriwijaya University. This is proven after the researcher conducted a pre-survey. The average answer stated strongly agree that Sriwijaya University E-Learning needs to be evaluated for usability and user experience. Furthermore, from the interview with the Coordinator of Learning Development Center (LP3MP UNSRI), the information was obtained that the need for input from users to make E-Learning better and to know the level of usability of E-Learning itself to continue to be used. The method used in this research is TUXEL 2.0 which consists of three stages namely Usability Inspection, General LMS/Pedagogical Usability Inspection, User Experience Evaluation. The sample used in this study was 150 students consisting of 15 people each per faculty. The result of usability inspection found 50 problems reported. while in General LMS/Pedagogical Usability Inspection there are total 33 problems found and in User Experience Evaluation stage, it is known that all aspect scales are > 0.8 means all aspects have positive level which indicates Sriwjaya University E-Learning is very good

Abstract

The Regional Supervision Management Information System (SIMWASDA) is a web-based system with the function of documenting the oversight process performed by the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP), especially the Inspectorate at the district, city, province and other levels when supervising all activities in the Regional Unit. Regional Apparatus Work. This Information System was also developed with the aim that each monitoring process becomes systematic and integrated. In general, SIMWASDA has not been implemented properly because system users have not utilized it optimally. Due to this, a study was conducted using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) at the South Sumatra Provincial Inspectorate to identify factors that might have an impact on the acceptance and use of SIMWASDA. This study uses all variables from UTAUT along with 3 moderator variables. The number of respondents involved was 80 people. The results obtained show that social influence has the highest significant effect on the behavioral intention of SIMWASDA users and is followed by performance expectancy, while effort expectancy has an effect but not significant on the behavioral intention of SIMWASDA users. In addition, facilitating conditions and behavioral intentions have a significant influence on the use behavior of SIMWASDA users. In the moderating variable, age is a moderate variable that can weaken the effect of facilitating conditions on use behavior, but no moderation strengthens or weakens the effect on performance expectancy, effort expectancy or social influence of behavioral intention. There is no difference between gender which has a moderating effect in strengthening and weakening the influence on performance expectancy, effort expectancy and social influence on behavioral intention. After that, Experience completely has no moderating effect to strengthen or weaken the influence from effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions of behavioral intention and use behavior. This study succeeded in accepting five hypotheses and rejecting ten hypotheses.

Abstract

Every year, the BKKBN website for South Sumatra Province experiences development from the center without conducting a direct survey of the website's feasibility with its users. At present, the South Sumatra Provincial BKKBN employees feel that the South Sumatra Provincial BKKBN website has an unattractive appearance and is not user-friendly. The appearance of the user interface and the user experience are things that must be considered when building a website. This display will affect the user's decision to reuse the website or not. This study designed the UI/UX design for the BKKBN website for South Sumatra Province using the design thinking method. Prior to designing, a website evaluation test will be carried out using the system usability scale (SUS) method to measure the usability value of the website. The results of the average test value using the system usability scale (SUS) can be said to be good and accepted by users if the test results are  68. This study found that the results of usability evaluation tests before design improvements were carried out had an average value of SUS 65, and after improvements were made, UI/UX design using the design thinking method resulted in an average SUS score of 81.5

Abstract

Giwang Sumsel is an application from the Culture and Tourism Office of South Sumatra Province that aims to provide information, facilitate tourism, and help tourists explore South Sumatra Province. The Giwang Sumsel application has many complaints from users, ranging from display problems to information conveyed that does not meet user desires. Usability evaluation testing needs to be done to determine the usefulness of the application for users. The research conducted usability evaluation testing using the system usability scale (SUS) method and then redesigned based on user needs using the design thinking method. Usability evaluation testing using the system usability scale (SUS) method has an assessment score of 1–5 with an average value of 68 to be categorized as a good design. The design thinking method was used during the process of redesigning the UI/UX design of the Giwang Sumsel application because at each stage it always involves users, so the hope is that the results will be the same according to the needs of users. At this stage, testing of the improved design will be carried out using the single ease question (SEQ) method, which has an assessment score of 1–7, and if the average value obtained is 55, the design can be categorized as a good design. The test results prove that the usability evaluation of the design before improvement with the design thinking method gets an average SUS value of 41.6, and the design results after improvement with the design thinking method get an average value of 69.9 with the single ease question (SEQ) method

Abstract

Sriwijaya University Career Development Center has applied information technology through a website that serves to provide information and services regarding character and career development of students and alumni. Based on interviews with several users, it is suspected that there are problems on the website, such as information that is not up to date, the user interface is considered less attractive and makes users feel difficulties and problems in website access speed. For this reason, it is necessary to evaluate user satisfaction to determine the level of user satisfaction on the Unsri CDC website so that it can be used as reference material in improving website quality in the future. In evaluating user satisfaction using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method which consists of 5 variables in it including Content, Accuracy, Format, Ease of Use and Timeliness. This study included 150 respondents consisting of students and alumni of Sriwijaya University who had accessed the Unsri CDC website. The results showed that the level of user satisfaction in each variable, namely Content worth 82.6%, Accuracy worth 77.3%, Format worth 76.8%, Ease of Use worth 77.7% and Timeliness worth 76.1%.
