Abstract

hasil analisis awal bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran guru di RA Al Kautsar Kebonbatur Mranggen Demak masih sangat rendah sekali karena rata rata ada pada kategori kurang. Hal ini karena kebanyakan guru hanya melakukan pembelajaran dengen ceramah di depan dan menulis di papan tulis serta bernyanyi untuk menghidupkan suasana, pada pengamatan terhadap penggunaan alat bantu pembeljaaran ada pada kategori cukup ini artinya sudah ada alat bantu atau media pembelajaran, hanya kurang maksimal penggunaannya dan khusus alat bantu looseparts masih kurang. keaktifan belajar anak ada pada kategori kurang, hal ini disebabkan salama pembelajaran guru kurang dapat memberikan stimulasi secara tepat terhadap arah perkembangan kognitif anak sehingga keaktifan anak menjadi kurang, respon anak dalam pembelajaran ada pada kategori sangat kurang. Sedangkan keterlibatan anak dalam pembelajaran ada pada kategori kurang kemudian perkembangan kognitif anak ada pada ketegori kurang kemampuan kognitif diberbagai aspek masih kurang sekali seperti memecahkan masalah sederhana, berfikir logis sebab akibat, berpikir simbolik seperti konsep bialangan mengenal huruf dan lain sebagainya. Oleh sebab itu perlu dikembangkan model pembelajaran saintifik berbasis steam dan loose parts untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif pada siswa.

Abstract

Curiosity is one of the fundamental dispositions that supports children's cognitive development and scientific thinking during early childhood. However, science learning in many early childhood education settings remains dominated by teacher-centered activities, limiting opportunities for children to explore, investigate, and construct knowledge through direct experience. This study aims to describe the implementation of project-based science learning through the Elephant Trunk Soap Bubble Experiment in stimulating young children's curiosity at TK Al Qodar. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Research participants consisted of the principal, classroom teachers, and children who participated in the learning project. Data were collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data credibility was ensured through source triangulation, technique triangulation, member checking, and prolonged engagement. The findings indicate that project-based science learning creates meaningful learning experiences that encourage children to actively ask questions, observe scientific phenomena, test various ideas, collaborate with peers, and communicate their findings during the learning process. The integration of storytelling, imaginative play, and contextual experimentation through the elephant trunk theme increased children's engagement, sustained attention, and willingness to repeat investigations, reflecting the emergence of scientific curiosity. The findings also demonstrate that teachers' roles as facilitators and the provision of authentic exploration opportunities significantly support children's cognitive engagement and inquiry behaviors. This study concludes that project-based science learning through the Elephant Trunk Soap Bubble Experiment effectively stimulates curiosity by integrating play, scientific exploration, and collaborative learning into a meaningful educational experience. The study contributes to the development of constructivist-based science learning practices in early childhood education and provides practical insights for designing innovative, child-centered science activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the language acquisition process in early childhood within the context of learning at Al Qodar Kindergarten. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of children aged 5–6 years, class teachers, and the principal of Al Qodar Kindergarten. Data collection techniques included participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed that children's language acquisition at Al Qodar Kindergarten occurred effectively through the integration of storytelling, singing, role-playing, and dialogic activities. These methods successfully stimulated children's vocabulary development, understanding of narrative structures, and communicative skills in meaningful contexts. The role of teachers in creating a responsive learning environment and implementing learning differentiation according to the child's individual developmental level is a crucial factor in supporting successful language acquisition. The integration of Islamic values ​​in language learning positively contributes to children's vocabulary enrichment and pragmatic understanding. However, the limited time allocated for language learning within the integrated thematic curriculum and teachers' unequal understanding of early childhood language acquisition theory pose challenges that need to be addressed. This study recommends the need for specialized training for teachers, increased time allocated for expressive language activities, and strengthening the role of the physical classroom environment as a stimulus for children's independent language development.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan metode cerita gambar berbasis website interaktif terhadap kemampuan bahasa lisan dan budaya lokal bagi anak usia dini. Penelitian menggunakan mix-method dengan varian exploratory. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian terapan dengan metode Research and Development (R&D) atau metode penelitian dan pengembanga. Prosedur penelitian pengembangan ini terdiri dari 10 langkah sebagai berikut: tahap I penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, tahap II perencanaan dan pengumpulan data, tahap iii mengembangkan produk awal, tahap iv validasi produk, tahap v revisi produk tahap I, tahap VI uji coba terbatas, tahap vii revisi produk tahap II, tahap viii uji coba lapangan, tahap IX penyempurnaan produk akhir, tahap X diseminasi. Uji efektivitas dalam penelitian menggunakan penelitian Quasy Experiment, yaitu jenis penelitian yang memberikan perlakuan (eksperimen) dengan menggunakan kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok pembanding. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini berupa teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data deskriptif berupa instrumen non tes dengan menggunakan angket yang diukur menggunakan skala likert. Sedangkan teknik analisis data kuantitatif berupa skor angket dan tes. Skor angket terdiri atas penilaian ahli desain tampilan, ahli materi, ahli pembelajaran dengan menghitung persentase jawaban.
