<![CDATA[AbstrakPenelitian ini bertolak belakang dari masalah apakah kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah berpengaruh baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan terhadap sekolah efektif pada SD Negeri di Kecamatan Purwakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah terhadap sekolah efektif. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melalui regresi korelasi sederhana, dan regresi korelasi ganda. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan data yaitu angket yang disebar ke 392 responden pada 30 SD Negeri sampel dari jumlah populasi 82 SD Negeri yang ada di wilayah Kecamatan Purwakarta. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster sampling (area sampling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah berpengaruh cukup kuat terhadap sekolah efektif dengan determinasi rendah, iklim sekolah terhadap sekolah efektif berpengaruh cukup kuat dengan determinasi rendah, sedangkan kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah iklim sekolah secara simultan berpengaruh kuat terhadap sekolah efektif dengan determinasi sedang. Rekomendasi terhadap penelitian ini diantaranya adalah perlu dikembangkan kegiatan sekolah yang difokuskan pada peningkatan prestasi akademik dan non akademik peserta didik. Bagi kepala sekolah perlu dikembangkan kerjasama kolaboratif antar stakeholder sekolah dalam menciptakan iklim sekolah yang kondusif. The method used in this research is survey method with quantitative approach, through simple regression correlation, and multiple regression correlation. The instrument used to obtain the data that is distributed questionnaires to 392 respondents in 30 primary schools sample of the population of 82 primary schools in the District of Purwakarta. The results showed that the principal effect of transformational leadership is strong enough to lower effective schools with determination, school climate for effective school effect is strong enough to lower determination, whereas transformational leadership principals and school climate simultaneously strong influence on effective school with determination being. Recommendations for the study of which is the need to develop school activities are focused on improving the academic and non-academic achievements of learners. For principals need to be developed collaborative partnership between school stakeholders in creating a school climate that is conducive.
