Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk  untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa pengaruh motivasi kerja dan pelatihan  terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah di sekolah dasar negeri di kecamatan cibatu Kabupaten  Garut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Populasinya adalah seluruh   kepala sekolah Sekolah Dasar Negeri se-Kabupaten Garut yang ber jumlah 47 orang. sampel penelitian  diambil berdasarkan total sampling dari seluruh Sekolah Dasar Negeri se-Kabupaten Garut. Penjaringan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis melalui korelasi dan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberaadaan  motivasi kerja, pelatihan, dan kinerja kepala sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Negeri se-Kabupaten Garut berada pada katagori  tinggi. Motivasi kerja berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah. Pelatihan berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah, dan secara bersama-sama motivasi kerja dan pelatihan berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah. Kesimpulannya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi kerja dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja kepala sekolah Sekolah Dasar Negeri se-Kabupaten Garut.Kata Kunci: Motivasi kerja, Pelatihan, Kinerja Kepala SekolahAbstractThis study aimed to describe and analyze the influence of work motivation and training toward the performance of the principal in all elementary schools in Kecamatan Cibatu Kabupaten Garut, and also analyzing how much the effect of the work motivation and training toward the principal performances in Kecamatan Cibatu Kabupaten Garut, either partially or simultaneously. The approach used in this study is quantitative approach with survey method. The population is 47 principals in all elementary school in Kecamatan Cibatu Kabupaten Garut. that selected by totaly sampling from all elementary school in Kecamatan Cibatu Kabupaten Garut. The technique used to collect the data is questionnaire and the data was analyzed by correlation and regression. The result of the data processing and analysis shows that the work motivation, the principal training, and the principal performance in all elementary school in Kecamatan Cibatu Kabupaten Garut are at high category. Either the work motivation or the principal training is affecting positively and significantly toward the principal performance, and together with the motivation work, the principal training is affecting positively and significantly toward the principal performance.Key Words: Work Motivation, Principal Training, Principal Performance

Abstract

Abstrak Upaya pemberdayaan sekolah menjadi hal yang urgen untuk peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Sekolah efektif merupakan solusi untuk menutup disparitas mutu pendidikan kita. sekolah efektif perlu ditopang oleh kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah. Penelitian ini berupaya menguji berapa besar pengaruh kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah terhadap sekolah efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui regresi korelasi sederhana dan berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah berpengaruh cukup kuat terhadap sekolah efektif, Iklim sekolah berpengaruh cukup kuat terhadap sekolah efektif, sedangkan kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah secara simultan  berpengaruh kuat terhadap sekolah efektif.AbstractEfforts toempowerschoolsbecomeurgenttoimprove the qualityof education. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertolak belakang dari masalah apakah kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah berpengaruh baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan terhadap sekolah efektif pada SD Negeri di Kecamatan Purwakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah terhadap sekolah efektif. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melalui regresi korelasi sederhana, dan regresi korelasi ganda. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan data yaitu angket yang disebar ke 392 responden pada 30 SD Negeri sampel dari jumlah populasi 82 SD Negeri yang ada di wilayah Kecamatan Purwakarta. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster sampling (area sampling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah berpengaruh cukup kuat terhadap sekolah efektif dengan determinasi rendah, iklim sekolah terhadap sekolah efektif berpengaruh cukup kuat dengan determinasi rendah, sedangkan kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah iklim sekolah secara simultan berpengaruh kuat terhadap sekolah efektif dengan determinasi sedang. Rekomendasi terhadap penelitian ini diantaranya adalah perlu dikembangkan kegiatan sekolah yang difokuskan pada peningkatan prestasi akademik dan non akademik peserta didik. Bagi kepala sekolah perlu dikembangkan kerjasama kolaboratif antar stakeholder sekolah dalam menciptakan iklim sekolah yang kondusif.  Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Iklim Sekolah, Sekolah Efektif.      AbstractThis study opposite of matter whether transformational leadership principals and school climate affect either partially or simultaneously to effective schools at public primary schools in the District of Purwakarta. This study aims to determine how much influence the principal's transformational leadership and school climate for effective school. The method used in this research is survey method with quantitative approach, through simple regression correlation, and multiple regression correlation. The instrument used to obtain the data that is distributed questionnaires to 392 respondents in 30 primary schools sample of the population of 82 primary schools in the District of Purwakarta. The samples in this study using cluster sampling (sampling area). The results showed that the principal effect of transformational leadership is strong enough to lower effective schools with determination, school climate for effective school effect is strong enough to lower determination, whereas transformational leadership principals and school climate simultaneously strong influence on effective school with determination being. Recommendations for the study of which is the need to develop school activities are focused on improving the academic and non-academic achievements of learners. For principals need to be developed collaborative partnership between school stakeholders in creating a school climate that is conducive.
