Abstract

The development of digital technology is currently very rapid, especially in the e-commerce sector. Digital marketing is promotional activities and market search through online digital media by utilizing various means such as social networks. The purpose of this study is to design a mobile commerce-based digital marketing platform for SMEs in Pagelaran by having adequate and competitive style promotional and marketing media, knowing the functions and features possessed by web-based media, especially for online promotion and marketing. The methods used in this study include data collection methods such as observation, interviews, and literature study and the system development method with the waterfall model. The results of this study are in the form of a mobile web-based MSME product promotion information system design that can help MSME business actors in developing efforts

Abstract

Soybean-based products such as tofu, tempeh, and tauco play a crucial role as affordable sources of plant-based protein for the community. However, micro-enterprises in Dadapan Village still face challenges in marketing, particularly limited market access, lack of promotion, and competition with similar products from other regions. Meanwhile, the development of mobile commerce (m-commerce) provides new opportunities to expand marketing networks through digital platforms. This study aims to analyze the strategies of soybean-based product entrepreneurs in utilizing mobile commerce, identify the challenges encountered, and evaluate its impact on market reach and business sustainability. Previous studies have mainly focused on traditional distribution channels and value-added analysis, leaving a research gap in exploring m-commerce adoption among rural micro-enterprises. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation using purposive sampling. The results show that entrepreneurs primarily use applications such as WhatsApp, Facebook, and online marketplaces for marketing, which benefits them in terms of broader consumer reach, improved customer interaction, and product diversification. The main obstacles include limited digital literacy, distribution costs, and production capacity constraints. The study concludes that mobile commerce plays a significant role in enhancing the competitiveness of soybean-based micro-enterprises in rural areas, although continuous support in digital literacy and sustainable marketing strategies is still required.

Abstract

This research was conducted to develop a more computerized filing system at SMP N 19 Pesawaran District. The purpose of this research is to add the Correspondence feature to the existing system because the use of a mailing system that is still manual and prone to losing letters can cause loss of time, costs, and hinder administrative processes at schools. The waterfall method and programming languages PHP, Java Script, and CSS are used in the development of information systems that have correspondence features. This system is useful in the process of storing and reporting incoming and outgoing letters contained in the agenda book. The author adds a special menu to back up letters stored in the information system. This backup feature is very important to ensure the security and retention of data stored in information systems. With the data backup and agenda letter features, the process of managing incoming and outgoing mail archives can be done more effectively and efficiently. This can help improve overall organizational efficiency and productivity. In this study, the authors succeeded in developing an information system that is more computerized and integrated with the Correspondence feature which is safe, reliable, and easy for users to use. This research has the potential to improve the quality of administrative services at SMP N 19 Pesawaran District and can be adopted by similar institutions to improve letter filing and increase overall organizational productivity.

Abstract

BOSS Playstation is a Playstation game rental place in Pringsewu, BOSS Playstation has a transaction activity that involves customers and working employees, it is not uncommon for each party involved to have misunderstandings regarding transactions, both duration and rental fees. For this reason, the authors see the need for an application design that can handle these problems, in this case a billing application that can later manage schedules or activities related to leasing carried out by customers. With an Android-based application, it is hoped that later the application can be used freely by the operator on duty, the application can also function as a place for recording revenue and time earned on that day by the operator on duty. There are two applications that will be the result of this design, namely an application to monitor billing time and an application to manage all transactions needed in this business such as rental prices, duration, package names, to available food, as well as to monitor revenue earned by BOSS Playstation.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and analyze the implementation of an Android-based mobile commerce system for processed soybean products to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs in Dadapan Village. The research adopts the Waterfall Method approach, which includes analysis, design, implementation, and system testing stages. The developed system features product catalogs, shopping carts, and digital transaction capabilities with a responsive and user-friendly web commerce interface. System testing was conducted using black box and white box methods to ensure performance and reliability. In addition, user evaluation was carried out through questionnaires involving 45 respondents to assess user satisfaction levels. The results indicate that the implementation of mobile commerce significantly improves transaction efficiency, expands market reach, and increases consumer interest in soybean-based products. Most respondents expressed positive feedback regarding ease of use, access speed, and clarity of information provided by the application. Therefore, the developed system serves as an effective solution to support SME digitalization and strengthen the competitiveness of local products in the digital economy era.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate a web-based sales and digital marketing information system to improve transaction efficiency and promotional effectiveness at Salsa Bakery, a small-scale enterprise in the food and beverage sector. The existing system relied on conventional methods, where transactions and data recording were conducted manually, leading to inefficiencies, data inaccuracies, and limited marketing reach. To address these issues, a web mobile-based system was designed using the Waterfall development method and modeled with Unified Modeling Language (UML). Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and literature study to ensure system requirements aligned with real business needs. The system was evaluated using a simple statistical approach involving 3 staff members and 30 customers. The results indicate significant improvements in transaction efficiency, promotional effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and staff performance. The system enables real-time product information access, faster transaction processing, and broader digital promotion through an integrated platform. The findings demonstrate that implementing a web-based sales and marketing system can effectively support digital transformation in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This study contributes to the development of practical solutions that enhance operational performance and competitiveness, particularly in the bakery industry.
