Abstract

One of the centers of economic activity in Semarang City is the Tugu Muda Central Business District (CBD) area which is located on the Imam Bonjol, Captain Piere Tendean, and Pemuda roads. This area is a center of community movement which has a very high traffic pull generation, causing congestion. The Semarang City Government since 2017 until now (2022) has implemented a One Way System in the area. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the existing traffic services after 5 years of implementation. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing One Way Traffic System during the morning peak hour. The trick is to compare performance using 2 alternative scenarios. Alternative I uses a two-way system without parking lanes and Alternative II uses a two-way system with parking lanes. The method used is a case study based on MKJI calculations and the use of the Contram Release 5.09 application. The results of the analysis show that for the performance of roads (micro), namely V/C Ratio and speed, the One Way System has a better value than Alternative I and Alternative II. For road network performance (macro) which consists of travel time, mileage, network speed, and fuel consumption also has a better value. One Way System after 5 years is still feasible.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the process of data inputted and analyzed through the ePAKSI application, In this thesis used primary and secondary data collection methods. Secondary data as a support for primary data were obtained from the Office of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Temanggung Regency and from the Office of the Food Security, Agriculture and Fisheries Office of Temanggung Regency. The results showed that the data inputted and analyzed with the ePAKSI application included data on asset types, asset names, nomenclature, dimensions and conditions ranging from assets upstream (weir) to downstream (end of the channel) of the Cabak irrigation network and the latest number of assets from field searches in the form of 3 channels, 34 buildings and 14 tertiary plots were known. The results of the evaluation of the performance assessment of the irrigation system of the Cabak Irrigation Area with the ePAKSI application obtained a total value of 63.70% in the less category (55% - 70%) with recommendations for handling needs attention from the Temanggung Regency Government. The details of the evaluation results of the performance assessment of the irrigation system of the Cabak Irrigation Area consist of physical infrastructure with a score of 59.81%, planting productivity 87.84%, supporting facilities 68.00%, personnel organization 71.20%, documentation 62.50% and water user farmer associations (GP3A / IP3A) 30.00%.

Abstract

This study adopts a quantitative case study approach using the Earned Value Method (EVM) to assess project cost and schedule performance, complemented by a Time–Cost Trade Off (Crashing Analysis) to formulate acceleration strategies that restore the project to its planned timeline. Primary data were collected through field observations and interviews, while secondary data were obtained from weekly and monthly reports, the project time schedule, and the Project Budget Plan (RAB). The analysis indicates that the project experienced delays, reflected by by the condition BCWP < BCWS, which reflects schedule deviation. However, cost utilization remains efficient because ACWP < BCWP, indicating that actual spending is lower than the value of work completed. This condition is supported by the cost performance index CPI > 1, which signifies cost efficiency, while the schedule performance index SPI < 1 indicates schedule delays. The estimated cost at completion (EAC), amounting to Rp13,125,412,382.00, shows that the project is expected to finish below the original budget of Rp17,968,594,000.00, whereas the time estimate (TE) shows a potential delay of 11.82 weeks beyond the contract duration. Through crashing analysis, adding 5 hours of overtime per day can reduce the remaining critical path duration from 11.82 weeks to 6 weeks with an additional cost of Rp143,390,625.00, equivalent to approximately 4.3% of the total crash cost.

Abstract

Pile foundations play an important role in ensuring the stability of multi storey buildings subjected to axial loads, lateral loads, and moments. In the Batang III Industrial Worker Housing Project (JTGRSN21-03), the original foundation system used bored piles. This study redesigns the foundation into spun piles with a diameter of 0.80 m and a length of 12 m under the same soil conditions and loads. The research methodology was conducted through analysis of three foundation joints. Axial bearing capacity was evaluated using the Meyerhof method, resulting in a tip resistance of 946.00 kN, skin friction resistance of 2,970.37 kN, ultimate bearing capacity of 3,916.37 kN, and allowable bearing capacity of 1,305.46 kN. Lateral bearing capacity was analyzed using the Broms method with an allowable capacity of 162.0 kN. Group pile bearing capacity was determined using the Converse Labarre method. Settlement analysis using the Vesic method showed a single pile settlement of 22.69 mm and group settlements of 50.2 mm at joint 599, 41.8 mm at joint 628, and 21.0 mm at joint 371. Plaxis analysis produced smaller settlements of 13.94 mm, 13.44 mm, and 9.19 mm. The pile cap and shear wall design is considered safe.
