Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji (1) gambaran pelaksanaan pembelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) di SMP Negeri 11 Pare-pare, (2) kemampuan literasi media visual Siswa SMP Negeri 11 Pare-pare, (3) hubungan kemampuan literasi media visual siswa dengan keberhasilan pembelajaran teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) siswa SMP Negeri 11 Pare-pare. Penelitian ini menggunakan survey yang bersifat kualitatif. Survey dilakukan dengan memilih informan yang sudah ditargetkan yang dimulai dari pengamatan langsung observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai instrumen utama penelitian. Penelitian ini terfokus pada kemampuan literasi media visual siswa dalam pembelajaran teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 11 Pare-pare agar tercapai tujuan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca dan memahami materi tentang teknologi informasi dan teknologi komunikasi dalam bentuk visual yang disajikan oleh guru seiring dengan lengkapnya fasilitas dan beragamnya sajian visual yang ditampilkan oleh guru serta strategi pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran TIK. Kemampuan literasi media visual siswa yang baik mempermudah dalam proses belajar mengajar. Abstract The aims of this research are to (1) description of the implementation of learning information and communication technology (ICT) at Junior High School 11 Pare-pare, (2) the ability of visual media literacy students of SMP Negeri 11 Parepare, (3) the relationship of visual media literacy skills of students with successful learning of information technology and communication technology (ICT) students of SMP Negeri 11 Parepare. This study uses a qualitative survey. The survey is conducted by selecting information who has targeted the starts from the observation of direct observation, interview and documentation as the main instrument of research. This study focuses on the ability of visual media literacy students in learning information and communication technology (ICT) in Junior High School 11 Parepare state in order to achieve the learning objectives. The result of this research showed an increase in students skills in reading and understanding the flow of information and materials about the technology in the form of visual communication technologies presented by the teacher along with full facilities and a variety of visual presentation shown by the teachers And learning strategies in teaching ICT. Visual media literacy skills students both in teaching and learning easier.

Abstract

Beton merupakan bahan bangunan yang cukup berat, dengan berat volume sekitar 2400 kg/m3. Beton yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah beton jenis K-225 dengan campuran limbah styrofoam. Styrofoam banyak digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari antara lain digunakan untuk dekorasi, maket bangunan dan wadah penyajian bagi hidangan produk siap saji. Sampai saat ini penelitian styrofoam telah banyak dilakukan untuk pemanfaatan limbah menjadi fungsi yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penambahan styrofoam terhadap kuat tekan beton, dengan perbandingan 10%,20%,30%,40% dan 50% terhadap volume total agregat kasar dan halus beton K-225. Benda uji berupa kubus dengan ukuran 15 cm x 15 cm sejumlah 2 buah tanpa styrofoam dan 10 buah dengan penambahan styrofoam. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penambahan komposisi styrofoam mengakibatkan penurunan kuat tekan beton dari 28,4 MPa menjadi 14,0 MPa pada campuran 10% styrofoam, 11,9 MPa pada campuran 20% styrofoam, 8,62 MPa pada campuran 30% styrofoam, 7,69 MPa pada campuran 40% styrofoam, dan 5,97 MPa pada campuran 50% styrofoam.

Abstract

The educational needs of students need to be adapted to the needs of the local and global environment in the era of society 5.0. The application of 21st century competency content, especially collaboration, can make students able to compete, think critically, creatively, and innovatively in solving problems. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of learning writing procedural text skills in a project-based model with poster media based on collaborative competence in grade XI Madrasah Aliyah students. This type of research is an experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference between students' initial abilities and the state after treatment. The result of the research is that there are significant differences in the process and learning outcomes of the PjBL model in the ability to write procedural texts with poster media based on collaborative competence in grade XI Madrasah Aliyah students. Poster media is effectively used in learning to write procedural texts based on the collaboration competence of grade XI Madrasah Aliyah students. This is evidenced by the students' pre-test and post-test learning outcomes. The pre-test data of experimental class students' learning outcomes showed an average of 66.00 while the post test results were 85.00 so there was a difference of 19.00. The results of the paired sample t-test on the poster media showed that student learning outcomes had a Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 while the t-count value is 15.855 > the t-table value is 1.688. In addition, the results of the assessment of student attitudes during the learning process showed a value of 87.57%. The benefit of research is that it provides a choice of teaching models and media for teachers and students to help students understand procedural texts.

Abstract

Konflik antara Palestina dan Israel menjadi berita internasional yang menarik perhatian seluruh dunia. Informasi mengenai konflik tersebut menghiasi berbagai platform media sosial tidak terkecuali Instagram. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kehadiran media sosial  yaitu Instagram dalam menampilkan fakta-fakta  yang terjadi di Palestina pada bulan Oktober 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi online untuk melihat unggahan-unggahan akun-akun yang terkait dengan pemberitaan mengenai Plaestina-Israel yang ada di Instagram. Pendekatan observasi yang bersifat tidak mencolok (unobstrusive observation) memungkinkan peneliti untuk mengumpulkan data tanpa berinteraksi langsung. Fokus observasi adalah akun-akun yang sudah centang biru dan beberapa akun-akun yang memiliki pengikut (followers) ratusan ribu dimana akun-akun ini ikut menyebarkan fakta-fakta terkait pemberitaan Palestina-Israel. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memiliki peran yang cukup penting utamanya Instagram memberikan altenatif informasi dan menampilkan fakta-fakta secara aktual yang terjadi di tengah banyaknya pemberitaan-pemberitaan palsu yang tersebar dan pemberitaan yang sesuai dengan kejadian yang ada di Palestina yang tidak didapatkan pada media-media arus utama.

Abstract

This study examines the role of local television stations in South Sulawesi in supporting education management at the junior high school (SMP) level. Through qualitative methods, this research involves interviews with television program managers, school principals, teachers, parents of students, and officials of the Education Office. The findings of the study show that local TV stations help improve the quality of education management by disseminating important information, providing alternative learning programs, and facilitating community participation in school activities. Local TV stations also face several challenges, such as limited broadcast coverage, budget limitations, and content quality that still needs to be improved. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of support from the government and the community to maximize the role of local TV stations in improving the quality of education in South Sulawesi.Keywords: Local TV stations, junior high school education, education management, South Sulawesi.
