Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui 1) peran dan fungsi multimedia center  dan nilai tambah yang diperoleh siswa dari penggunaan Web (E-Learning) melalui multimedia center di Briton International English school Makassar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kantor Pusat Briton International English School Makassar yang bertempat di Jl. Lasinrang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui rekaman wawancara dengan 7 orang informan, observasi kelas, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran multimedia center di Briton IES Makassar adalah sebagai fasilitas penunjang silabus pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di Briton IES. Fungsinya adalah sebagai sarana untuk mengakses Web (E-Learning), sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interaktif karena lebih mendekatkan siswa dengan perangkat teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, serta berfungsi sebagai sarana berkumpul dan diskusi bagi siswa. Siswa memperoleh nilai tambah dengan menggunakan Web (E-Leraning) melalui multimedia center. Pertama, siswa mendapatkan banyak informasi dan bahan belajar, yang terkini (up to date) dengan mudah, cepat dan lebih detail (jelas). Kedua, siswa mendapatkan informasi dan bahan belajar dalam berbagai format media baik dalam bentuk teks, gambar, dan video yang menarik bagi mereka. Ketiga, keterampilan berbahasa Inggris para siswa dapat berkembang khususnya keterampilan reading, writing, vocabulary, dan grammar. Keempat, siswa lebih aktif dan bersemangat dalam proses belajar karena terlibat langsung dalam proses mendapatkan informasi dan bahan belajar yang dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris.ABSTRACTThe aims of the research are to reveal the role and function of the multimedia center and the added value achieved by the students by using Web (E-Learning) in multimedia center in Briton International English school of Makassar. The research was a descriptive qualitative study conducted Central Office of Briton International English School of Makassar located on Jl. Lasinrang. The metohod of obtaining the data were recording, interview to 7 informants, class observation, documentation, and literature study. The data were analysed by using Miles dan Huberman interactive model. The results of the research reveal that multimedia center in Briton International English School of Makassar has a role as supporting facility for syllabus of English learning process in Briton International English School of Makassar. It functions as a facility to access the Web (E-Learning), as interesting and attractive learning facility to the students since they are more closely related to information and communication technology of English learning process, and a facility for the students to get together and have a discussion. There are some added values obtained by the students. First, the students get lots of up to date information and learning materials more easily, quickly, and clearly. Second, the students get information and learning materials in different forms of media such us text, picture, and video which attractive them. Third, the students’ skill in English could develop, especially their reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar skills. Fourth, the students are more active and enthusiastic in learning process, because since they participated directly in the process to get information and learning materials needed in English learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of wage system in Indonesia based on Law No. 13/2003 and Government Regulation No. 78/2015 on labor conditions in Jabodetabek. The urgency of this study with regard to wage conditions in Indonesia that are still visible lags tend to widen the gap between workers and employers. It’s a policy study by collecting secondary data and then analyzed into a conclusion and a recommendation. Descriptive qualitative study method used data collection techniques such as: documentation of literature study, discussion and grouping of research object data. The results of the study indicate that the new formula in determining the minimum wage and annual wage increase in Indonesia has been implemented based on PP no. 78 years 2015 which is based on inflation rate and economic growth. The new formula of minimum wage determination is opposed by the workers on the basis of not accommodating the fulfillment of life-worth needs and narrowing the rights of workers in democracy demanding a decent wage increase. Entrepreneurs view PP Wage has not accommodate the condition of UMKM  in the implementation of minimum wage that requires the structure of wages and wage scale (SUSU). The Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI), which is preparing the Wage System Bill, needs field data and facts related to the current wage condition. The important recommendations that can be considered by the DPD RI in the preparation of the Wage System Bill is the refinement of the legislative materials related to the evaluation of the components of Decent Living Needs (KHL) once in five years, the establishment of policies on the implementation of SUSU for UMKM and strengthening the supervisory function in the field of manpower especially in the regions
