Abstract

Kegiatan Out-Posted gula  kelapa yang dilakukan di Kabupaten Blitar yaitu di Desa Ngoran (kecamatan Nglegok), Ngaringan (kecamatan Gandusari) dan Kandangan (Kecamatan Strengat) meliputi kegiatan bimbingan dan penyuluhan, demontrasi atau peragaan pembuatan gula dengan menggunakan natrium metabisulfit serta memberikan advis-advis kepada para pengrajin maupun aparat desa dari lain daerah yang memerlukan dalam rangka peningkatan mutu gula kelapa dan pengembangannya.Out-posted dilakukan sejak bulan Oktober 1982 sampai dengan bulan Maret 1983 dengan tujuan meningkatkan nilai pendapatan petani khususnya pengrajin gula kelapa, memperbaiki proses pengolahan dan memberikan bimbingan serta penyuluhan kepada para pengrajin.Hasil pembinaan dan pengembangan pengrajin gula kelapa di Kabupaten Blitar telah mencakup sekitar 11 Kecamatan, 38 Desa dan sekitar 2.800-3.200 pengrajin atau 30-35% dari seluruh pengrajin yang ada untuk wilayah Kabupaten Blitar.Para pengrajin sudah dapat mengerjakan dengan trampil cara pembuatan gula yang baik, sehingga terjadi kenaikan harga dari gula yang diproduksi yaitu rata-rata Rp.25,-Kg atau 6,25% (ditingkat pengrajin).

Abstract

The quality of seedlings reflects of the genetic and physiological quality of plants. Good seedlings are an important factor in the success of planting. This study aimed to assess the quality of seedlings produced at the BPDAS Solo Permanent Nursery. The assessment of seedling quality criteria is based on the Regulation of the Director General of RLPS Number P.05/V-SET/2009 and SNI 8420:2018. Three species of seedlings are assessed, namely trembesi, balsa, and soursop. The origin of the seeds of the 3 species of seedlings tested did not come from a certified seed source or had seed quality information so they had not passed the test for the seed origin criteria. The physical quality requirements for seedlings include the percentage of normal seedlings and the average of special requirements for the three species of seedlings tested in the category of passing the test and first quality (P). This showed that BPDAS Solo Permanent Nursery produces seedlings that meet standards and are ready to be planted in the field. Keywords: seedling quality, raintree, balsa, soursop, permanent nursery

Abstract

Local food-based agro-industry requires raw materials in the form of agricultural products that are suitable for processing into food products. The need for meat production as a source of animal protein for the community is increasing. This can be seen from the demand for chicken meat which is increasing every day. The high demand for chicken makes several meat business actors carry out slaughtering both in slaughterhouses and slaughterhouses. PT Malindo Feedmill is a company engaged in the animal feed industry, chick farming and broiler farming as well as processed food. Several aspects are needed to develop agro-industry at PT Malindo Feedmill so that the company can innovate for the future and can generate large revenues. In this case, it is necessary to analyze what businesses and strategies are applied for the development of agro-industry at PT Malindo Feedmill. Data analysis using the survey method and continued with SWOT analysis. The results of the SWOT analysis show that the establishment of a Chicken Slaughterhouse for the company is feasible for the company to establish, this is because the score of strengths and threats is 1.35 and opportunities and threats have a score of 2.19 which means that the chicken slaughterhouse development strategy is in quadrant 1 where the company has strengths and opportunities in running a business.
