Abstract

The basis of this research is the fact that low learning outcomes are the result of inadequate learning implementation. This research is expected to be able to describe the expansion of learning outcomes using the Card Sort model. This research was carried out at SDN 16 Payakumbuh with the research subjects being educators and fifth grade students. The stages of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting on this research were carried out over two cycles. The results of the RPP aspect in the first cycle obtained 80.56%, increasing in the second cycle 94.44%. Observation of the educator aspects of cycle I was 83.34% and cycle II increased by 95.83%. Observation of student aspects in cycle I was 81.25%, an increase of 91.66% in cycle II. Student learning outcomes in cycle I 77.03 and cycle II 84.67. Thus the Card Sort model can improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

Level of consumptive behavior of Padang State University students. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of active consumptive behavior of Padang State University students. This type of research uses quantitative techniques in the form of descriptive analysis. This study involved 54 UNP student respondents from various departments and batches using a purposive random sampling technique as a sampling step. The data analysis technique used in this study uses the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 application used as a categorization of research subjects. The results showed that the dominant level of consumptive behavior among UNP students was low, namely around 59.3%, the remaining 33.3% (moderate), and 7.4% (high).

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana penerimaan (reception) mahasiswa di Kota Padang terhadap konten berkualitas melalui playlist Docuvlog pada kanal YouTube Ferry Irwandi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori konstruksi sosial menurut Peter L. Berger serta menggunakan paradigma konstruksivisme dengan metode kualitatif teknik analisis resepsi dan menggunakan teori encoding-decoding oleh Stuart Hall dan. Memberikan gambaran mengenai bagaimana mahasiswa memaknai dan menanggapi konten edukatif yang disajikan, serta memberikan kontribusi terhadap penguatan literasi media digital dalam membentuk masyarakat yang lebih kritis, sadar informasi, dan cerdas dalam mengonsumsi konten di era digital. Hasil penelitian ini membahas bagaimana Ferry Irwandi sebagai konten kreator membentuk konstruksi realitas konten berkualitas melalui playlist Docuvlog di kanal YouTube-nya. Proses konstruksi ini dianalisis menggunakan teori konstruksi sosial Peter L. Berger dan Thomas Luckmann, yang mencakup tiga tahapan. Pertama eksternalisasi, Ferry Irwandi mengenalkan konsep keilmuan melalui narasi video yang informatif dan terstruktur. Kedua objektivasi, audiens mulai berinteraksi dan membentuk kesepahaman bahwa Docuvlog adalah konten yang berkualitas, baik melalui kolom komentar. Ketiga internalisasi, nilai-nilai dan pesan dalam Docuvlog diserap dan memengaruhi cara berpikir serta tindakan audiens. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media digital seperti YouTube memungkinkan terbentuknya realitas sosial baru, dan Ferry Irwandi berhasil memanfaatkan ruang ini untuk mengonstruksi dan menyebarkan nilai edukatif yang berdampak pada kesadaran kolektif mahasiswa di Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menjelaskan kebaruan konstruksi sosial yang dilakukan melalui platform media sosial yang memberikan pengaruh terhadap audiensnya.

Abstract

The Hot Spring Bath of Jorong Gurah, located in Nagari Batu Bajanjang, Solok Regency, West Sumatra, is a geothermal-based natural resource with great potential to be developed as an integrated community-based geotourism (Community-Based Tourism/CBT) destination. This study aims to identify and analyze the geotourism potential of the Jorong Gurah Hot Spring, examine the involvement of local communities—including the participation of KKN students from Universitas Negeri Padang—in tourism development efforts, and formulate sustainable development strategies. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with field observation approaches, in-depth interviews with local residents, and documentation analysis. The results indicate that this location has significant geotourism potential, including natural Hot spring sources with beneficial mineral content, beautiful mountain landscapes, and the distinctive local wisdom of farming communities. As a concrete contribution, UNP KKN students installed directional signboards containing information about the bathing location, the division of male and female zones, and information that the facility is free and open to the public. The formulated CBT program includes cultural ecotourism development, agrotourism Based on local agriculture, and community economic empowerment through the tourism sector.
