Abstract

Abstract

The construction of a new road in Purbaratu District, Tasikmalaya, represents a significant case for studying infrastructure's impact on local economies. This study examines how the new road affects local mendong handicraft artisans and roadside vendors. Using a mixed-method approach, the research finds that while accessibility has improved, the benefits have not been evenly distributed. Artisans face marketing and raw material supply challenges, while vendors struggle with spatial regulation and legality. The study highlights the necessity of zoning policies, digital adaptation training, and the development of community-based entrepreneurship ecosystems through multi-stakeholder collaboration. These findings underscore the need for synergy between physical infrastructure and socio-economic capacity building to ensure inclusive and sustainable development outcomes.

Abstract

This study analyzes the integration of sharia economics, green economy, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in strengthening the sustainable development model in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis, this study found that sharia principles such as justice, balance, and benefit are aligned with the green economy agenda that emphasizes resource efficiency and environmental protection. The findings indicate that the implementation of Sharia financial instruments, such as productive zakat, green waqf, and green sukuk, significantly strengthens the funding of sustainable development projects and increases community participation. The coherence between the values of maqasid al-shariah and the SDGs targets makes sharia economics an effective ethical platform in the transition to low-carbon development. This study concludes that Sharia-green integration is a strategic approach to achieving inclusive and resilient development, although challenges remain, including limited regulations, inadequate institutional capacity, and limited public understanding. Recommendations for further research include the use of mixed methods, expanding the study to the halal industry sector, and developing an integrative theoretical framework based on maqasid and SDGs indicators.

A study is said to be valid if it has a proven causal relationship between its variables. A study is said to have validity if it can minimize various confounding factors that can affect the results and the level of trust in the study. Several threats to internal validity that can affect the results of the study The purpose of this study is to describe the role of internal validity in a scientific study and the threats to internal validity. The articles used as sources of literature review in this study are based on Google Scholar and PubMed data. The search for research literature uses the keywords "internal validity" and "threats to internal validity". The analysis technique used is the narrative method by grouping the data that was excavated. This study aims to describe internal validity and threats to internal validity in research. Threats to internal validity history, maturation, subject characteristics, mortality, location, subject attitude, instrumentation, testing, regression, implementation. Threat control techniques random assignment, blocking, matching, placebo, in addition to standardization of conditions, research subject information, detailed research information, and selection of appropriate designs internal validity ensures that research has a high level of trust and accuracy. Researchers must be confident that threats have been successfully controlled and their risks minimized so that they do not affect the research. Various techniques can be used to control threats to internal validity. Threats cannot be completely eliminated but can be anticipated and controlled.
