Abstract

Pengembangan disiplin sekolah berbasis karakter merupakan suatu inovasi pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk membentuk karakter siswa melalui pembentukan sikap disiplin yang positif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model pengembangan disiplin sekolah berbasis karakter dan menguji efektivitasnya terhadap siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan partisipan siswa kelas VI di salah satu SD di kota Cilacap. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 3 siklus dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pengembangan disiplin sekolah berbasis karakter efektif dalam meningkatkan sikap disiplin siswa. Terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam peningkatan disiplin siswa dari awal siklus ke siklus ketiga. Selain itu, siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan dalam aspek-aspek karakter seperti tanggung jawab, kejujuran, kerjasama, dan inisiatif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan disiplin sekolah berbasis karakter dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di indonesia.

Abstract

Character values are an important part of education in elementary schools. One way to develop character values in children is through sports activities, especially gymnastics. Gymnastics is a sporting activity that requires cooperation, self-confidence, perseverance, discipline, and other positive values (Rachmadayanti, 2017., Annsia 2019., & Wuryandani, 2014). This study aims to examine the character values that are developed through gymnastic activities at SDN Jatisari 1. Through this research, it is hoped that it can provide an overview of the character values that are developed in children through gymnastic sports activities. This research also aims to contribute to the development of learning programs in elementary schools, especially in developing character values in children through sports activities. In this study, the method used was direct observation and interviews with sports teachers and students involved in gymnastic sports activities. The data obtained will be analyzed qualitatively and interpreted in the form of findings that can describe the character values developed in gymnastics activities at SDN Jatisari 1.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a mental development program with Pancasila characters for 5th-grade students in elementary school. This program is designed to help students develop the character and values of Pancasila as a basis for behaving and acting. The research was carried out using the development method which involved three stages, namely the definition, development, and evaluation stages. The research was conducted on fifth-grade students at an elementary school in the Jabodetabek area. The results of this study indicate that the Pancasila character development program can improve students’ ability to recognize and apply Pancasila values in everyday life. Apart from that, this program also helps students to develop positive characteristics such as integrity, responsibility, discipline, and social concern.
