Abstract

This research discusses that every human being will definitely be given a disaster and that is a certainty. Many verses and hadiths explain the certainty of disaster. Allahﷻ has absolute will and power to give disaster to His servants. Trying to understand the disaster based on the thoughts of Imam Ibnu Katsir, Abdurrahman As-Sa'di and Teungku Muhammad Hasbi. Disaster As for the interpretation of Al-Qur'anul Adzhim, Taisir al-Karim ar-Rahman Fi Tafsir Kalam an-Mannan and Al-Qur'anul Majid An-Nur. The three interpretations were chosen because they have their respective advantages, namely the interpretation of Al-Qur'anul Adzhim bil riwayah interpretation, the interpretation of Taisir al-Karim ar-Rahman Fi The interpretation of Kalam an-Mannan is clear and concise and the interpretation of An-Nur the interpretation of Indonesian which is easy to understand . The background of this research is the number of verses that discuss disasters that are relevant to real life. The focus of the discussion in this study is the similarities and differences in the word calamity in the interpretations of Ibn Katsir, Tafsir An-Nur and Tafsir As-Sa'di as well as the causes and wisdom of calamities in ten verses of calamity namely QS. Al-Baqarah (2):155-157, QS. Al-Imran (3):165, QS. Al Imran (3):165, QS. An-Nisa (4):62, QS. An-Nisa (4): 72, QS. Al Maidah (5): 106, QS. At Tawba (9):50, QS. Al Qashash (28): 47, QS. As-Shura (42):30, QS. Al-Hadid (57):22 and QS. At-Taghabun (64): 11. The methodology used in this research is text research. This type of research uses the library research method of the study of revelation texts, namely research on the texts of the Al-Qur'an, namely examining the verses of the word calamity in the Al-Qur'an. The results of this study indicate that the interpretations of Ibnu Katsir, Tafsir An-Nur and Tafsir As-Sa'di have similarities and differences in understanding the word disaster. In the interpretation of Ibn Kathir he does not explain in detail, he interprets the word disaster as a disaster. whereas in the interpretation of An-Nur he interprets a disaster as a disaster, a threat and punishment, then the interpretation of As-Sa'di interprets it as a disaster and punishment. As for the causes of disasters, namely qada and qadhar Allahﷻ which were written in Lauhul Mahfudz before creating nature, with the permission of Allahﷻ and human actions themselves. As for the meaning of calamity, that is to insult/denounce the hypocrites, to separate those who are honest from those who lie, those who are patient and those who are impatient, not to diminish the faith of a believer or to turn them away from their religion, to teach us to be grateful and patient and pray, a way to get reward, and others.

Abstract

Abstract This thesis research discusses the concept of heaven and earth based on the thoughts of al-Qurthubi, Abdurrahman as-Sa'di, and modern scientific theory. Which is listed in both the book of commentaries and books on modern science. The two commentary books are the book Al-Jami' li Ahkam Al-Qur'an and the book Taisiri Karimi ar-Rahman fi Tafsiri Kalami al-Mannan. The two interpretations were chosen because both of them have their own opinion regarding the concept of heaven and earth, with different life eras. The background of this research is that people are still debating about the existence and concept of heaven and earth in the name of the Qur'an and science. The focus of discussion in this research is matters relating to the process of creating the heavens and the earth/the process of forming the universe, the concepts and forms of the heavens and the earth, as well as the alternation of day and night/the concept of the motion of the heavenly and earthly bodies. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative approach to the type of library research. While the data analysis technique used is using descriptive comparative method or describing the three opinions regarding the concept of heaven and earth and also comparing the three opinions by looking at the differences and similarities. The results of this study indicate that al-Qurthubi, as-Sa'di and Modern Science have similarities and differences in terms of the concepts of heaven and earth. according to al-Qurthubi and as-Sa'di, the earth and the sky were created in six periods in the order of creation namely the earth then the mountains and the contents of the earth then the sky. Meanwhile, according to science, the sky was formed long before the earth. Besides that, al-Qurthubi said that the earth does not move, in this case it rotates. The third time the earth moves, there will be shocks/earthquakes as usual. According to him the earth is flat. Whereas as-Sa'di and modern science say that the earth is round. Al-Qurthubi and as-Sa'di also said that the circulation of the sun and moon causes day and night. Meanwhile, modern science says that it is the earth's rotation that causes the phenomenon of day and night.

Abstract

Beberapa tahun terakhir ini, problematika tentang pencemaran lingkungan banyak mendapat sorotan dari berbagai kalangan. Ini disebabkan karena pencemaran lingkungan merupakan isu global yang dampaknya menimpa penghuni dunia masa kini dan generasi mendatang. Akhir-akhir ini kelengkapan dan keindahan alam sudah mulai memudar dengan adanya krisis lingkungan global. Hal ini karena adanya kerusakan lingkungan beserta ekosistemnya. Adapun masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah: Pertama, tentang sebab dan akibat dari kerusakan lingkungan. Kedua, tentang solusi kerusakan lingkungan menurut Al-Qur`an. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti hendak menyatakan bahwa di dalam Al-Qur`an terdapat beberapa ayat yang menyatakan bahwa kerusakan lingkungan yang terjadi tidak lain adalah akibat dari sebagian manusia yang melakukan tindakan eksploitatif terhadap lingkungan dan adapun mengenai solusi dari kerusakan lingkungan juga telah diisyaratkan di dalam Al-Qur`an. Untuk itu, dalam penelitian ini peneliti menjawab permasalahan yang ada melalui pendekatan library research, yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap literatur yang berkaitan dengan penulisan penelitian ini, yakni dengan cara mengumpulkan ayat yang menerangkan tentang kerusakan lingkungan dan solusinya yang terdapat di dalam Al-Qur`an dengan menggunakan beberapa kitab tafsir seperti Tafsir Al-Qur`an al-Azhîm sebagai repsentasi dari tafsir klasik, Tafsir as-Sya’rawi sebagai repsentasi dari kitab kontemporer dan Tafsir al-Misbah sebagai repsentasi dari kitab tafsir Nusantara. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Pertama, sebagian bentuk kerusakan yang ada di dunia ini adalah disebabkan dari tangan-tangan manusia yang tidak memiliki rasa tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan. Adapun akibat dari kerusakan lingkungan diantaranya pencemaran air, penurunan populasi hewan air, bau, pencemaran tanah (pertanian), krisis keberagaman hayati, kerusakan hutan, kekeringan dan krisis air bersih, pertambangan dan kerusakan lingkungan, pencemaran udara, dan banjir. Kedua, dalam Al-Qur`an terdapat beberapa ayat yang megisyaratkan tentang kerusakan lingkungan yang disebabkan oleh manusia yaitu QS. Ar-Rum[30]: 40, QS. Al-Baqarah[2]: 205, QS. Al-A’raf[7]: 56 dan di dalam Al-Qur`an juga terdapat beberapa ayat yang mengisyaratkan tentang solusi dari kerusakan lingkungan yaitu: QS. al-An’am[6]:38, QS. al-Hajj[22]:18, QS. al-Isra’[17]: 27, QS. Qashash[28]: 77, QS. al-A’raf[7]: 96, QS. Asy-Syu’arâ[26]: 7-8, QS. al-Baqarah[2]: 30.
