Abstract

  Abstract Bookletbased research can be made as learning resources because its helping students to understand the material with its simple form and the experiment result. Bookletbased research is a conventional learning model with the use of scientific journal based interactive.The objective of the study was to know the importance of booklet development, how to developing and the effectiveness in learning process. The type of study was Research and Development (R&D). The data were detemined from development booklet requirement by teacher, the feasibility validation of booklet based research by validator, student’s responses, and the last was student’s achievement in kognitive and affective. The teacher gives positive feedback with the booklet development as learning resources. The result of booklet based research feasibility which was determined from the expert could be said very suitable with the average score 91,5%. Student’s completeness achievement with the score ≥80 in application trial reached 93,5%. The score 92,5% showed positive student’s response about this booklet and 88% for the affective score. Based on this study, it can be concluded that the developing of booklet is necessary, booklet based research was very suitable to be applied in learning process of environmental pollution material; and it also proved the effectiveness of this method by student’s achievement. Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Buklet berbasis penelitian dapat dijadikan sumber belajar karena bentuknya sederhana serta menyediakan data akurat yang dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep materi. Buklet berbasis penelitian merupakan sebuah model pembelajaran konvensional dengan pemanfaatan jurnal ilmiah yang bersifat interaktif. Tujuan pengembangan adalah untuk mengetahui pentingnya, cara pengembangan serta efektivitasnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) melalui tahapan identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, revisi produk dan menghasilkan produk final. Data yang diambil adalah kebutuhan pengembangan buklet oleh guru, kelayakan buklet yang divalidasi validator, tanggapan siswa mengenai kelayakan buklet dan hasil belajar kognitif dan afektif siswa. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa guru memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan buklet. Hasil penilaian kelayakan buklet dari pakar materi dan media memperoleh skor rata-rata 91,5% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai ≥80 pada uji coba pemakaian 93,5%. Siswa memberikan tanggapan yang sangat layak ditunjukkan dengan perolehan skor rata-rata sebesar 92,5% dan perolehan nilai afektif mencapai 88%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buklet dikembangkan berdasarkan angket kebutuhan oleh guru dan observasi awal pada siswa, buklet dikembangkan dengan penambahan jurnal ilmiah, dan buklet efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aimed to test feasibiity of digital comic Let?s Learn about virus as learning media in increase comprehension 10th grade of Senior High School students about virus. The study design is Research and Development (R&D). Small scale and wide scale test and trials held at SMA Negeri 11 Semarang on class X MIPA 6 in odd semester of 2016/2017 academic year. Samples taken in random sampling and design research with One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The results of the validation indicates that the digital comics very decent used in learning with a percentage of the media expert 92%, material expert 89%,  and biology teacher 96%. Small scale trial results stated that 92% of students agreed the learning virus? material using digital comic?s media. The effectiveness of digital comics seen from wide scale trial results. The results obtained from wide scale trial is the average value of N-Gain in the amount 0.68 category medium and thoroughly classical students achieve 88.9% with the results of the assessment of attitudes and skills the average is very good. Teachers and students give positive response toward the use of digital comics.
