Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of directive speech acts in Serial Nussa Season 2. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research data, namely the character dialogues in the Nussa Season 2 Serial. The data source is on the Nussa Official Youtube Channel. Data collection was carried out by listening, noting, and classifying methods. The research instrument is an observation instrument by directly observing the research object, in this case the researcher uses all five senses, namely sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste to obtain data. This instrument can be in the form of data cards, video recordings. Data analysis is carried out using the matching technique. Presenting the results of the analysis in a formal and informal manner. The results of the study show that there are 6 types of directive speech acts, namely requests, advice, orders, questions, prohibitions, and agreements. The category of direct literal questions dominates and from each category of directive speech acts in this case the speech acts of direct literal agreement are the least and only one data is found in the Nussa Season 2 series.

Abstract

Siswa memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah disebabkan oleh penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hal itulah yang mendasari dilakukannya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini dijalankan dengan maksud agar perbedaan model pembelajaran konvensioanl dengan Problem Based Learning berbantuan media konkret terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SDN Mlatiharjo 01 Semarang bisa diketahui. Pre-Experimental Design jenisnya One-group Pretest-Posttest Design adalah cara penelitiannya yang diimplementasikan pada studi tersebut dan teknik samping jenuh dipakai untuk mengambil sampel, dimana dalam teknik ini, sampel ditentukan saat seluruh populasi dipakai sebagai sampel. Seluruh siswa kelas VA SDN Mlatiharjo 01 Semarang tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang memuat 28 murid dijadikan sebagai populasi dalam penelitian ini. Tes dan dokumentasi adalah dua metode yang dipakai untuk mengumpulkan data. Uji normalitas, uji paired sampe t-test serta uji N Gain adalah sejumlah teknik yang dipakai untuk menganalisis data. Hasil dari penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa secara signifikan pembelajaran mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran konvensional dengan Problem Based Learning berbantuan media konkret memperlihatkan adanya perbedaan yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V SDN Mlatiharjo 01 Semarang.

Abstract

Character education is a fundamental thing that can determine the quality of education and the main foundation for students to become moral human beings in accordance with the values of Pancasila. The purpose of writing this article is to present a literature review from various sources regarding the use of character learning media so that it can help students develop their positive characters. The method used in writing this article is literature study. Currently, many students experience character loss, namely the loss of their own character, making them individuals who behave in ways that do not comply with existing rules. There are many problems with character education, especially in the school environment, and of course this is an important problem that must be resolved by presenting relevant solutions. In this case the author chose to use media in the form of character cards. From the character card media used, it can be seen that students experience an increase in character development in accordance with the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve students' speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects by applying story picture card games (karamba) to fifth grade students of SD Negeri Purwosari 1, Sayung sub-district, Demak district. This type of research is a class action research which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subject of this research was the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Purwosari 1, totaling 30 students. The object of this research is students' speaking skills. Data collection in this study was done by observation method. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis technique. The results showed that in cycle I, the average score of speaking skills obtained was 74 and the average percentage obtained was 73.3%, which was in the low category. In cycle II, the average speaking skill score obtained was 82 and the average percentage obtained was 93,3% in the high category. The percentage increase from cycle I to cycle II was 20%. This shows that there has been an increase in the percentage of speaking skills of fifth grade students of SD Negeri Purwosari 1. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of karamba games (story picture cards) can improve students' speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects in grade V SD Negeri Purwosari 1, Sayung sub-district, Demak district in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Education is a crucial matter in shaping a nation’s future by fostering professional human resources equipped with knowledge and technology. This research explores the contributions of edupreneurship activities to children's development, focusing on fine motor skills, understanding basic economic concepts, and enhancing cognitive and social skills. Using a qualitative and participatory approach, this study involved 15 children at SD Negeri Purwosari 1 in hands-on activities related to the production of "BRAYO CRISPY CHIPS". The findings demonstrate significant improvements in fine motor coordination, as children engaged in tasks like measuring, pouring, and packaging, promoting essential motor skills. Additionally, the initiative fostered an understanding of fundamental economic principles through simulated financial transactions, cultivating economic literacy. Socially, the collaborative nature of the project enhanced teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and confidence among participants. This edupreneurship model not only supports the development of entrepreneurial attitudes in early childhood but also promotes holistic growth across cognitive, social, and physical domains. The study recommends integrating similar edupreneurship activities into early childhood curricula to further enhance independence, creativity, and problem-solving skills, while also suggesting avenues for future research to assess the long-term impacts of such educational interventions.
