Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan sumber belajar otentik dalam field trip di Pantai Teluk Awur dapat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi ekosistem di SMP N 3 Jepara. Pantai Teluk Awur memiliki potensi alam yang beraneka ragam yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pembelajaran, antara lain terumbu karang, padang lamun dan hutan bakau. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimental menggunakan desain One shot case study. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VII B dan VII C yang berjumlah 76 siswa, pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik convenient sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih aktif melakukan investigasi di Pantai Teluk Awur sebagai sumber belajarnya, sangat aktif 79% pada kelas VII B dan 83% kelas VII C. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal pada kelas VII B 79% dan 76% pada kelas VII C. Nilai aktivitas pembelajaran dalam field trip diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan observer, sedangkan nilai penguasaan materi ekosistem diperoleh dari lembar kerja siswa dan skor post-test. Pemanfaatan Pantai Teluk Awur sebagai sumber belajar otentik berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.     Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research aimed to know whether the use of authentic learning resources in a field trip at the Teluk Awur beach could  affect on learning achievement on topic of  ecosystems at SMP N 3 Jepara. Teluk Awur beach has rich natural resources that can be used for biology learning, such as coral reef, seagrass beds and mangroves. This type of research was experimental research designed using a One shot case study. The sample of this study was class VII B and VII C students 76, determined by the convenient sampling technique. The result showed that the students were more actively investigating Teluk Awur beach as their learning resources, very active 79% class VII B and 83% class VII C. The average learning achievement of students in class VII B was respectively 79% and 76% in class VII C. The activity score of learning in a field trip was collected by obsevation sheet, whereas the score of mastering the ecosystem was collected from work sheet and post-test. The utilization of  Teluk Awur beach as authnetic learning resources had an effect on learning achievement of students.

Abstract

Plantae is one of biology subjects at X grade. The school condition that located in the low area causing not so many diversity of plant in the school environtment and there is no Gymnospermae. The learning method still using lecture with the help of power point and also teacher and student manual book. Students less active and do not really engage in the learning process so it influence the learning result. The aim of this study is to develop Gymnospremae Interactive Media Android Based (MIGA) with The Discovery Learning towards Plantae Subject in Senior High School. This study is a research and development (R&D) study with the phases of data collection, product design, product validation, product revision small scale testing, product revision, huge scale testing, product revision and final product. The assessment result of MIGA validation by subject expert is 91,67% (very valid) and by media expert is 100% (very valid). The media effectiveness which is seen from students learning result based on pre test and post test showed that there was an improvement of knowledge with N-gain average of 0,49 (moderate) and students classical thoroughness of 100%. Besides, MIGA is mentioned as a very practical based on the assessment of teacher’s response in the amount of 85,41% and students in the amount of 83,12%. Based on the analysis of research result, it can be concluded that the developed MIGA is valid, effective, and practical in the learning process.
