Abstract

This study aims to determine the education of the congregation in dealing with Covid at GKSI Bethlehem, Grogol Permai Congregation. The population in this study was the GKSI Bethlehem Satellite Grogol Permai congregation who were considered to be adults (20+) and over, which amounted to 258 of the entire congregation. Sampling used a random sampling technique, namely random sampling with the slovin formula, then found a sample of 86 congregation members. The instrument used to collect research data using a Likert scale model questionnaire. Data processing uses program modules with percentages. The results of data analysis stated that the variable categories and overall aspects were good. The results of the hypothesis test have a positive and significant effect, which strengthens H1 is accepted. Based on the research paradigm, it is explained that Church Education has an impact of 45.9% on the attitude of the congregation. Age background, educational status, economy, and length of time in church also affect the attitude of the congregation in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

AbstractStudent character is an important aspect of education that plays a role in shaping individual morals, ethics and personality. The PAK curriculum is designed to provide a deep understanding of Christian teachings and moral values that are expected to be applied in students' daily lives. This study aims to evaluate the effect of the PAK curriculum on student character building at Kasih Bagi Bangsa High School. The research approach is descriptive quantitative using a Likert model questionnaire for 81 students and validity testing is carried out using Pearson's product moment correlation and reliability testing using the Cronbach Alpha formula. The results of the analysis show that the PAK curriculum on character building shows a t value of 7.016 and a p value (Sig) of 0.000 which is below alpha 5% with a coefficient of determian of 0.346. This means that the PAK curriculum has an influence on character building by 34.6%. While the remaining 65.4% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The PAK curriculum indicator that is significant in influencing character building at Kasih Bagi Bangsa High School is experiencing spiritual growth with a sample of 81. Keywords: Curriculum, PAK, Character building, SMA Kasih Bagi Bangsa. AbstrakKarakter siswa merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan yang berperan dalam membentuk moral, etika, dan kepribadian individu. Kurikulum PAK dirancang untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang ajaran Kristen dan nilai-nilai moral yang diharapkan dapat diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh kurikulum (PAK) terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa di SMA Kasih Bagi Bangsa. Pendekatan penelitian secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan angket model Likert terhadap 81 siswa dan dilakukan pengujian validitas dengan menggunakan korelasi product moment dari Pearson dan pengujian reliabilitas dengan menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum PAK terhadap pembentukan karakter  menunjukkan nilai t hitung 7,016 dan p value (Sig) sebesar 0,000 yang di bawah alpha 5% dengan koefisien determian 0,346. Hal ini berarti kurikulum PAK memberikan pengaruh terhadap pembentukan karakter sebesar 34,6%. Sedangkan sisanya 65,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Indikator kurikulum PAK yang signifikan dalam mempengaruhi pembentukan karakter di SMA Kasih Bagi Bangsa adalah mengalami pertumbuhan spiritual dengan sampel sebanyak 81. Kata Kunci: Kurikulum, PAK, Pembentukan karakter, SMA Kasih Bagi Bangsa.
