Abstract

Company CV. AM Nanda Putra is located in Sidoarjo and operates in the scaffolding industry. Currently the company is experiencing losses due to a lack of optimization in planning the amount and time of ordering raw materials, which results in shortages and excess material inventory. To overcome this problem, the company uses the MRP (Material Requirement Planning) method in optimizing raw material planning. In terms of the lot sizing approach, the company applies the LFL and EOQ methods. The forecasting methods used are Moving Average (MA), Weight Moving Average (WMA), and Exponential Smoothing (ES). The smallest MAD results were obtained using the Exponential Smoothing (ES) method for all scaffolding products. The forecasting results are obtained to determine the MPS (Master Production Schedule) for the next 10 months. After the determination of MPS, the results of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) were obtained, namely the supply of raw materials for MF 170 AM scaffolding of 35402 units or 17700 sets, MF 170 K1 scaffolding of 28906 units or 14453 sets, MF 190 AM scaffolding of 16250 units or 8125 sets, and MF 190 K1 scaffolding of 7656 units or 3828 sets. From the results of calculating the cost of raw material requirements using the Lot for Lot (LFL) method and the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, it can be seen that the total cost of planning the smallest raw material inventory with an amount of Rp. 12,975,818,022.

Abstract

CV XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing with production in the form of stacking chairs. This company has a production capacity of 200 units of stacking chairs every day. The company has 3 types of bunk chairs, namely CH-100 KR, CH-200 KR, and CH-200 PC. Customer demand at this company tends to be fluctuating (up and down) which results in the company experiencing difficulties in determining the optimal raw material inventory to meet customer needs. The Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method is an appropriate method for scheduling inventory. The result of this scheduling model is in the form of a master production schedule (JIP) which is used to determine the demand for chair products for the next 6 months. The results of data processing obtained requests for stacking chairs in the next 6 months for the type CH-100 KR 10.724 unit, CH-200 KR of 10.998 unit, and CH-200 PC of 9.687 unit. The demand is then calculated using the MRP approach with LFL and EOQ. An effective material requirements planning method with the lowest cost is to use the Lot For Lot (LFL) method which gives the lowest cost results IDR 7,475,617,611.

Abstract

This research took place at PT. XYZ is one of the largest furniture manufacturers in Indonesia whose products have been exported to various countries. In Enzo Bar Cabinet products, defects are often found such as color variation, imperfect door operation, rough finish, and marble defects. Therefore, using the Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Failure Mode and Analysis (FMEA) methods which aim to identify the factors that cause defects and provide suggestions for improving the Enzo Bar Cabinet product at PT. XYZ. From the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it is found that the rough finish is the most common defect, namely 170 events with a percentage of 37.20%, which are caused by human factors, the environment, methods and materials. So the proposed improvements to reduce rough finish defects are ensuring that each part of the product is clean from dust before the painting process, there is a need for supervisors for operators to work optimally, asking for help from other operators and ensuring operators have enough rest so they don't get tired, preparing stock and ensuring sandpaper is still proper before the sanding process.

Abstract

Penelitian menggunakan metode FMEA untuk mengidentifikasi faktor kecacatan produk di CV. Sumber Untung Jaya Sejahtera. Produk Tp. Slitter Cap PS memiliki tingkat kecacatan 28,62%, terutama disebabkan oleh "Bintik Hitam" (53,41%), "Gosong" (15,17%), dan "Warna Putih Kurang" (11,70%). Sedangkan Tp. Sahara 35 PS memiliki tingkat kecacatan 35,70%, dengan "Pentil dalam Krowak" (44,94%), "Gelembung & Gosong" (23,11%), dan "Warna Hitam Mangkak" (14,04%) sebagai penyebab utama. Analisis Fishbone mengungkapkan kurangnya perawatan mesin dan kualitas bahan baku yang buruk sebagai faktor utama kecacatan. Setelah implementasi usulan perbaikan, terjadi penurunan signifikan kecacatan, dari 0,58% menjadi 0,56% untuk Tp. Slitter Cap PS, dan dari 8,19% menjadi 5,28% untuk Tp. Sahara 35 PS. Saran strategis termasuk penguatan proses pemeriksaan, peningkatan pemeliharaan mesin, dan pelatihan karyawan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk dan mengurangi kecacatan.

Abstract

PT Pesona Arnos Beton is a paving manufacturing company in Kedamean Hamlet, Gresik Regency, East Java. They produce 8 variants of paving with different shapes and sizes. The company has 5 paving machines and 20 workers. In this research, a WorkloadiMeasurementiAnalysis (WLA) was conducted to measure the company's workload. From the results of the calculation of optimizing additionaliproduction capacity, using a normal target involving 20 workers, the companyiis able to produce 51,150 paving pallets with a labor cost of Rp. 462,861,000 in 6imonths. This method isicheaper than using aniovertime target, whichiproduces 55,025 paving pallets by increasing operating hours by 1 hour and a totalicost of Rp. 533,200,000 in 6imonths. By following the productionitarget plan, PT Pesona Arnos Beton can reduce production costs by Rp. 70,339,000.

Abstract

One of the products produced by PT Surya Pertiwi Nusantara, namely the seat-type toilet or called CW 53 J, is one of the products that is relatively often produced among various other products that are made only when there is an order (make by order). From the production of CW 53 J often found defects or defects in quality control, the damage varies from small holes in various parts of the body, body cracks, body lack or inappropriate shape, peeled body, body dust etc. Many factors affect the success of production, but there are factors that can be controlled and cannot be controlled. The method in this study is to use seven tools. Seven tools are 7 tools used to control the quality of a product, including: chek sheet, cause and effect diagram, pareto diagram, control map diagram, spread chart, flow chart and histogram .

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of project scheduling for conveyor table top chain production at CV. XYZ using Critical Path Method (CPM). The study was motivated by frequent project delays in 2024, causing late deliveries and cost overruns. CPM identified the critical path as activities A–B–C–E–F–G–H–I–J–K–L–M–N, with one activity (Incoming Check Material) having slack. CPM estimated the project duration at 127 days of on-time completion. The findings show that CPM methode significantly improves time efficiency in project execution.

Abstract

Technological developments in agriculture are becoming increasingly sophisticated as time goes by. This technology aims to facilitate human work and increase production results. One technology that supports agriculture is automatic watering. A strategic step in realising increased yields in Family Medicinal Plant (TOGa) cultivation can be achieved with the introduction of an automatic watering system. Limited land use in planting TOGa, supported by the use of automatic watering, is expected to be able to become an additional source of income for the community. This service activity was carried out in Purwoseco Hamlet and Karangrejo Hamlet for ± 1 month. Service activities are carried out each week in two sessions. The number of dedication participants was 20. The service phase begins with a location survey, an introduction to the design of the watering technique, tutorials for making watering installations, and an evaluation of activities. The form of evaluation activities is carried out by testing independent statistical t tests on two groups. The perceived results of this service activity are that many participants feel optimistic when the service is finished and will implement an automatic watering system on their respective lands. This refers to the results of statistical tests using an independent t test, which is known to accept Ho as a result of the Sig value of 0.05. In addition, another result of this community service activity is that service participants think that the watering system is automatic.

Abstract

Rama Mulia Express merupakan sebuah badan usaha penyedia layanan jasa logistik atau pengiriman barang. Proses pengiriman barang menggunakan satu armada pengiriman untuk melakukan proses pengiriman barang. RME Surabaya dalam melakukan proses pengiriman sering melakukan sewa kendaraan karena proses pengiriman menggunakan satu armada belum dapat terselesaikan dalam satu hari kerja. RME Surabaya memiliki rencana untuk melakukan penambahan armada. Tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai adalah memberikan pertimbangan aspek ekonomi dari investasi penambahan armada baru maupun bekas menggunakan metode depresiasi garis lurus, (Straight Line), Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Payback Period, Break event point (BEP) dan analisis sensitivitas. Selanjutnya peneliti akan menganalisa pengaruhnya terhadap proses pengiriman dengan algoritma Sweep. Diperoleh hasil penelitian investasi armada baru dengan Harga Rp190,000,000, perkiraan umur ekonomis selama 8 tahun dan diperoleh hasil depresiasi Rp.14.012.500, dengan nilai NPV sebesar Rp17,194,082,251, Payback Period 1 bulan 10 hari, Nilai IRR sebesar 15.29%.
