Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kondisi traumatis perempuan dan anak di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara, dengan fokus pada Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Anak. Motivasi penelitian ini muncul dari meningkatnya kasus kekerasan yang memerlukan pemahaman mendalam terhadap trauma yang ditimbulkannya. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengungkap trauma psikologis akibat kekerasan fisik, seksual, dan psikologis. Ditemukan bahwa faktor ekonomi, ketidaksetaraan gender, dan kurangnya kesadaran akan hak menjadi penyebab utama. Meskipun DPPA telah berupaya mengatasi masalah ini melalui konseling dan bantuan hukum, masih terdapat tantangan, seperti terbatasnya sumber daya dan stigma sosial. Penelitian ini menyarankan peningkatan kapasitas DPPA dan kampanye kesadaran masyarakat untuk mengatasi masalah ini dengan lebih efektif.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of religious moderation values through the Festival Anak Bangsa held in the Pekebunan Membang Muda Village. The festival was initiated by students from the Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) UINSU with the aim of instilling tolerance, inclusiveness, and harmony among villagers from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with observation of 204 participants from various age groups, ranging from children to adults. The research findings indicate that the Festival Anak Bangsa is effective in instilling religious moderation values such as balance in faith, firmness in religious principles, tolerance toward differences, and equality among religious communities. The event involved various educational competitions emphasizing values of togetherness and cooperation, engaging all participants. Additionally, the involvement of religious leaders, village government, and the community played a key role in the success of the event and in conveying messages of religious moderation in a direct and comprehensive manner. The festival successfully created a strong social harmony atmosphere in the Pekebunan Membang Muda Village, strengthening the bond among villagers regardless of their religious background or age. The Festival Anak Bangsa not only served as a recreational event but also as an effective medium to raise awareness about the importance of living peacefully and respecting diversity. This study underscores the role of cultural and social activities in strengthening tolerance and harmony among citizens in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

ISTAID Center is an institution active in the fields of da'wah, education, and thought. The ISTAID movement adheres to the principle of literacy based on the Islamic worldview and the ta'dib pattern as its main foundation. This research employs a historical research approach encompassing heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The findings of this study reveal that ISTAID focuses on promoting literacy in mosques. Mosques are chosen due to their significant role as centers for social and religious activities and their potential in da'wah and literacy efforts. ISTAID spreads newsletters using accessible language that is easily understood by the community. In conclusion, the current presence of ISTAID Center in fostering literacy among the people of Medan City has proven to be highly effective. Through the consistent efforts of the ISTAID movement, the dissemination of Islam can be improved. This research offers a deeper understanding of the development of Islamic literacy through ISTAID Center, with a specific emphasis on the advancement of literacy civilization within mosques.
