Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum in pregnant women. This research is analytic in nature using a cross sectional design. This research was conducted at the Balaraja Health Center in 2021. The population in this study were all pregnant women who were diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum. The population in this study were 22 pregnant women with hyperemesis gravidarum. The analytical method in this study, namely, univariate analysis and statistical methods using the frequency distribution to see an overview of the characteristics of pregnant women who experience hyperemesis gravidarum including age, education, gravida and treatment. The results of this study are the variable age of pregnant women 20-35 years with hyperemesis gravidarum of 86.4% while age> 35 years of 13.6%. In variable gravida 2-4 (multigravida) with hyperemesis gravidarum it is 63.7%, in gravida 1 (primigarvida) it is 31.8% and in multi grande gravida > 4 it is 4.5%. At the elementary level education variable with hyperemesis gravidarum was 50%, junior high school level was 40.9%, high school level was 9.1%. In the variable handling of hyperemesis gravidarum, 95.4% were treated and 4.6% referred. The conclusion obtained is that hyperemesis gravidarum is a problem or diagnosis that often occurs, especially in the first quarter of pregnancy and can continue throughout pregnancy marked by excessive nausea and vomiting until dehydration and urine acetoses and impaired consciousness. Treatment of hyperemesis gravidarum is to determine the level of hyperemesis gravidarum based on the clinical symptoms that arise, namely mild, moderate and severe. And pay attention to the amount of electrolyte fluid that will be entered through the infusion.

Abstract

This study aims to provide education on Antenatal Care skills to increase Antenatal Care test scores for fifth semester students of the Diploma-3 Midwifery Study Program at STIKes Bhakti Pertiwi Indonesia. This study uses a type of correlation study with a retrospective approach (Retrospective Study). The population in this study were all students of the Diploma III Midwifery Study Program in the fifth semester who had taken the Antenatal Care exam and received a skill target of 100 students. The sampling technique uses total sampling. Bivariate data processing using Spearman Rank. Achievement of skill targets averaged 39 targets, of which there were at most 11-20 female students getting 60-80 varney targets and the rest getting 81-100 varney reports. Most of the antenatal care test scores were 75-80, namely 67S, 67%. The conclusion is that there is no statistically significant relationship between the target of antenatal care skills and the score of the antenatal care test (p = 0.058; p) 0.05) (p = (0.05).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, nutritional status and eating frequency with anemia in young women at the Bhakti Pertiwi Indonesia STIKes. This research is an analytic survey type with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were all female students of STIKes Bhakti Pertiwi Indonesia, totaling 414 people. Samples were taken as many as 126 respondents, sampling technique with Proportional Random Sampling. Data collection was carried out with primary data using a questionnaire. Data analysis with univariate, bivariate, multivariate. The results of the study showed that 38.9% of respondents experienced anemia. The results of univariate analysis obtained high knowledge (81.0%), positive attitude (50.8%), normal nutritional status (BMI 18.5 - <25.0) of 81.7% and frequency of eating ≥3 times/day ( 55.6%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there were four related variables, namely knowledge (p=0.016; OR=3.333), attitude (p=0.049; OR=2.220), nutritional status (p=0.031; OR=3.022), eating frequency (p=0.000; OR=35,282). The results of multivariate analysis showed that factors related to anemia in female adolescents were eating frequency (p=0.000; OR=38.479) while knowledge was the confounding variable. The dominant factor associated with anemia in female adolescents is eating frequency. Eating frequency is a variable associated with anemia in female adolescents. It is suggested to Midwifery student Salsabila Serang to increase the frequency of regular meals 3 times/day with a balanced nutrition menu that is high in iron (Fe).
