Abstract

According to Riskesdas in 2018, the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia was 74.5%. Data from the Banggai district shows that the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in 2019 was 65.2%. While in the area of ​​the southern Balantak health center it was 59.6%. The data indicate that there are still many babies who are not given exclusive breastfeeding. Social support is an external factor that affects exclusive breastfeeding for infants. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between social support and exclusive breastfeeding at the South Balantak Health Center, Banggai Regency .This study uses a cross sectional design, sampling using accidental sampling technique. The number of samples is 34 respondents. The variables analyzed were social support and exclusive breastfeeding. While the data analysis using the chi-square test. The results showed that most of the respondents had social support in the less category as much as 52.9%. Most of the toddlers were not given exclusive breastfeeding as much as 64.7%. Analysis of the relationship between Social support and exclusive breastfeeding obtained a p-value of 0.003 < 0.05. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between Social support and exclusive breastfeeding at the South Balantak Health Center, Banggai Regency. Efforts to overcome the problem of exclusive breastfeeding are one of them by providing counseling to mothers of toddlers.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang sering dialami anak usia prasekolah diantaranya kurangnya komunikasi yang dilakukan secara langsung pada keluarga, teman sebaya dan orang disekitarnya ditandai dengan anak suka menyendiri, minder, menutup diri, serta cenderung menarik diri dari pergaulan sehingga dapat menimbulkan anak tersebut terisolasi dan dapat menurunkan perkembangan interaksi sosial. Literatur bersumber dari database google scholar dan pubmed yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2015 hingga 2020, dan secara manual memilih artikel yang relevan dengan pertanyaan penelitian. Strategi yang digunakan untuk mencari artikel menggunakan PICOS framework. Pemberian role playing efektif terhadap perkembangan interaksi sosial anak usia pra sekolah dimana melalui kegiatan bermain yang menyenangkan, anak berusaha untuk menyelidiki dan mendapatkan pengalaman yang kaya, baik pengalaman dengan dirinya sendiri, orang lain, maupun dengan lingkungan disekitarnya sehingga dengan demikian mampu meningkatkan interaksi sosial anak tersebut. Jenis kegiatan bermain peran yang diberikan seperti dokter, tukang pos, tukang sayur dimana pelaksanaannya menggunakan alat-alat yang diperlukan seperti ruang tamu, ruang makan, tempat tidur boneka, ruang dapur dan perlengkapannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pemberian role playing efektif terhadap perkembangan interaksi sosial anak usia pra sekolah. Disarankan agar proses pembelajaran harus dikemas dalam kegiatan bermain. Untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sekitarnya anak harus diberi kesempatan bermain yang banyak dimana hal tersebut perlahan-lahan akan mengurangi bentuk egoisentris anak dan mampu mengembangkan kemampuan sosialnya.

Abstract

Immunization program is one of the main prevention methods to avoid infectious diseases. The problem in this study is the lack of complete basic immunization coverage in the Kamoro Jaya sub-district, Wania 2020 District. The purpose of this study was to analyze the motivation of mothers to complete basic immunization in toddlers. This type of research is a cross sectional study of analytic correlation. The account population was all 300 mothers from various local integrated healthcare center areas and the number of samples was several mothers totaling 100 respondents. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The dependent variable is the mother's motivation and the independent variable is the completeness of basic immunization. Collecting data used by consent forms and questionnaires. Data processing is used by editing, coding, scoring, data entry, data tabulation and is used by the chi square correlation test motivational results with a number 112.220 and the completeness results were 23,040. The results showed that out of 100 respondents at the "W'' Health Center, most (83%) were not motivated by 83 respondents, and the majority (74%) completed immunization in infants, namely 74 respondents. Chi square test analysis is obtained p-value =0.001 < α=0.05 (p-value < α) which means H0 rejected and H1 accepted. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between motivational factors and the completeness of immunization in toddlers at the Public Health Center "W" Mimika Timika Papua in 2020. So it is recommended for health workers to pay attention to the motivation of toddler mothers.
