Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of elementary linear algebra learning outcomes by applying Elearning with PAKSOBRI. The subjects of this study were 11 students of mathematics education class 2019/2020. The data was collected using the PAKSOBRI method (Graduated Question Package) with three questions in the form of multiple-choice, short answer, and essay questions with easy, medium and complex levels of difficulty. This type of research is CAR with data analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistics, namely by looking for the mean, median, mode, absorption and learning completeness. The indicators of the success of this research include individual mastery reaching 70, absorption reaching 70% and learning completeness 80%. Outcome student learning cycle I average 73.54, and learning completeness was 36.26%  in the deficient category. Outcome student learning cycle II average 74, and learning completeness was 72.73%  in the high category. Outcome student learning cycle III average 85.91, and learning completeness was 81.82%  in the high category. The conclusion shows an increase in elementary linear algebra learning outcomes for students of mathematics education, class 2019/2020 through E-learning application with PAKSOBRI.

Abstract

Mendeskripsikan kemampuan Koneksi Matematis Siswa SMPK Wignya Mandala dalam Menyelesaikan soal Himpunan merupakan tujuan dalam penelitian ini. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, Peneltian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data diantaranya (1) Tes, (2) Wawancara, (3) Dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi, (1) Reduksi data, (2) penyajian data, (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa (1) siswa dengan kemampuan koneksi matematis tinggi dapat menuliskan yang diketahui dan ditanyakan, dapat mengubah soal cerita ke dalam bentuk variabel dan mampu menghubungkan konsep himpunan dan konsep aljabar dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita serta menggunakan matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. (2) Siswa dengan kemampuan koneksi matematis sedang masih melakukan kesalahan dengan tidak menuliskan semua yang diketahui dan ditanyakan dalam soal. Mereka mampu mengaitkan konsep himpunan dan konsep aljabar dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita, namun dalam membuat diagram Venn masih belum tepat sehingga hasil akhir yang diperoleh juga masih belum tepat. Hal ini dikarenakan mereka belum memahami konsep himpunan dengan baik. (3) Siswa dengan kemampuan koneksi matematis rendah karena belum mampu menghubungkan konsep himpunan dan konsep aljabar dalam menyelesaikan masalah cerita yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a meaningful alternative learning in computer basics courses during the covid-19 pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic has gradually changed the educational paradigm, namely learning that was initially carried out synchronously into asynchronous Learning. It is at this time that all elements adapt to find effective solutions in carrying out meaningful Learning. In this study, Project-Based Learning will be designed in Computer Basics learning as a solution to make meaningful asynchronous Learning. Project-Based Learning was chosen because it has characteristics that are process-centred, problem-focused, combining the concepts of several components, both knowledge, disciplines, and field experience. The study subjects were college students of class Computer Basics, with a total of 11 students. There are two projects in this study with three steps which are planning the project, implementation the project, and evaluating the project. The result of this study is that meaningful learning alternatives are obtained for prospective mathematics teacher students in the Computer Basics course so that in the future, they can hone their creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the reasoning of seventh grade students in solving mathematical problems which includes sense-making, conjecturing, convincing, reflecting, and generalizing reasoning components. Based on the research objectives, the research conducted is useful to provide an overview of students' abilities in solving math problems involving five components through data exposure and discussion can explain the differences in students' abilities made by students. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research types and data analysis includes three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The source of data in this study is the results of students' work on the problem of rectangular flat shapes given, with the subject chosen 3 students. Of the 3 students there are differences in ability in solving rectangular problems so that these differences are classified into 3 characteristics based on the abilities of each student in the form of 1 student with high mathematics ability, 1 student with moderate mathematics ability, 1 student with low mathematics ability.

Abstract

TK Muslimat NU 1 Dewi Masyithoh terletak kurang lebih 26 km dari Universitas Wisnuwardhana Malang. Dalam kegiatan penerimaan siswa baru selama ini TK MNU1 Demasyi masih melakukan publikasi dengan pamflet atau brosur serta masih terbatas pada instagram dan facebook saja. Hal ini dinilai kurang efisien pada kondisi Masyarakat saat ini semakin terbiasa menggunakan perangkat berbasis teknologi informasi berupa smartphone dan komputer. Oleh karena itu pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan pemanfaatan Google Sites sebagai website sekolah kepada para guru di TK MNU1 Demasyi. Melalui Google Sites sekolah dapat menginformasikan mengenai penerimaan siswa baru dan menginformasikan kegiatan sekolah sebagai promosi. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu observasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Selanjutnya tim pengabdian membantu mengintegrasikan domain ke dalam sch.id. luaran yang dihasilkan yaitu adanya website sekolah TK MNU1 Demasyi dan sekolah dapat menginformasikan penerimaan siswa baru dan kegiatan di sekolah secara mandiri melalui website.

Abstract

Setiap hari setiap rumah tangga pasti akan menghasilkan sampah yang akan menjadi masalah besar jika tidak ditangani dengan baik. Sampah terdiri sampah organik dan anorganik. Sampah organik yang menumpuk pada tempat pembuangan akhir akan berbahaya karena akan menghasilkan gas metana yang dapat meledak atau dapat mengganggu lingkungan karena mencemari udara. Pada Desa Ngawonggo telah terdapat bank sampah anggur yang telah mengolah limbah plastik yang dapat diolah kembali namun belum memanfaatkan sampah organik. Warga juga belum memanfaatkan sampah organik untuk mengurangi polusi lingkungan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini salah satu yang dapat dilakukan adalah memanfaatkan sampah organik seperti sisa sayur dan buah untuk dijadikan eco enzyme. Untuk membuah eco enzyme ini hanya membutuhkan sampah organik, gula merah tebu dan air dengan perbandingan 3:1:10 yang di simpan dalam toples plastik tertutup dan di fermentasi selama 3 bulan. Eco enzyme sangat banyak manfaatnya diantara untuk pembersih rumah tangga yang ramah lingkungan, herbisida dan pestisida tanaman, membersihkan air kolam dan danau dan lain-lain. Tujuan pelatihan pembuatan eco enzyme ini adalah untuk mengedukasi warga untuk dapat memanfaatkan sampah organik menjadi eco enzyme yang serba guna untuk lingkungan.

Abstract

This research aims to design project-based learning in analytical geometry learning to develop students' mathematical communication skills. This research is motivated by the reluctance of the majority of students to express their opinions during class learning. Project-based learning was chosen because it has process-centered, problem-focused characteristics, integrating the concepts of several components of knowledge, disciplines, and field experience. Some exciting learning video designs on parabolas, ellipses, and hyperbolas were found in the findings of this project. Definitions, methods for analytically characterizing parabolas, ellipses, and hyperbolas, as well as example problems and exercises, are all included in the learning videos. The video showed that students could audio-visually express mathematical ideas about conic slices, presenting in algebraic form or using mathematical symbols. Through this project assignment, students can also develop their digital literacy skills.
