Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of the application of production and marketing ethics at PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, a state-owned company operating in the information and communication technology services sector in Indonesia. Through a qualitative approach, this research aims to understand how PT Telkom applies ethics in the marketing activities of its products, as well as the impact caused by the application of ethics. Secondary data from literature study is used as the main source of information. The results of this research are expected to provide insights for PT Telkom to improve the application of ethics in its operational activities, as well as useful for the government in formulating policies related to marketing ethics in Indonesia. In addition, this research is also expected to help the public in understanding the importance of marketing ethics, and encourage them to choose ethically produced products.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Emotional Intelligence and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on Nurse Performance at Mitra Sejati General Hospital Medan. The population in this study amounted to 113 permanent nurses and used probability sampling as many as 88 respondents. Data processing using SPSS 22 for Windows. Based on the results of the study partially showed that there was a Positive and Significant influence of Emotional Intelligence Variables on Nurse Performance at Mitra Sejati General Hospital Medan by 37.2%. There is a Positive and Significant Influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) Variables on Nurse Performance at Mitra Sejati General Hospital Medan by 38%. Based on the results of the research with the Determination test, it shows that the Variables of Emotional Intelligence and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) simultaneously have an effect on Nurse Performance. This can be seen from the results of the Determination Coefficient Test which shows a value of 0.359 which means that Emotional Intelligence and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) affects the performance of nurses by 35.9% while the rest is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of career development, employee commitment, and joint career development with commitment on employee performance at Ibunda Bagan Batu Hospital, Riau. The research method employs a quantitative approach with total sampling technique involving 75 employees of Ibunda Bagan Batu Hospital. Data were collected through literature study, interviews, observations, and questionnaires, and analyzed using instrument validity tests, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. Data management was conducted using SPSS 26 for Windows. The results indicate that career development (X1) (coefficient: 0.284) and employee commitment (X2) (coefficient: 0.272) positively and significantly influence employee performance (Y) at Ibunda Bagan Batu Hospital. The implications of this research underscore the importance of training programs and integration between career development and employee commitment to enhance employee performance.

Abstract

Manajemen operasional merupakan elemen fundamental dalam memastikan efisiensi, efektivitas, dan keberlanjutan proses produksi dalam sebuah organisasi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif terkait konsep, fungsi, dan strategi manajemen operasional dalam konteks proses produksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan literatur, yang berfokus pada analisis teori-teori, prinsip-prinsip, dan praktik terbaik yang relevan dengan manajemen operasional. Dalam pembahasan, artikel ini menguraikan bagaimana perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, dan pengendalian dapat diterapkan secara optimal untuk memanfaatkan sumber daya seperti bahan baku, tenaga kerja, teknologi, dan informasi. Selain itu, artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya pengendalian kualitas produk, penerapan prinsip lean manufacturing, serta inovasi berkelanjutan sebagai strategi menghadapi tantangan pasar yang kompetitif dan dinamis. Kajian menunjukkan bahwa menerapkan manajemen operasional yang terorganisir dan efisien dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas proses produksi serta meningkatkan keberlanjutan bisnis dalam jangka panjang. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi akademisi dan profesional industri dalam mengembangkan strategi operasional yang responsif, adaptif, dan kompetitif dengan menyesuaikan kebutuhan oragnisasi.
