Abstract

Desain Kegiatan Praktikum (DKL) menjadi salah satu komponen pendukung pembelajaran. Namun realitanya DKL yang ditemukan masih memiliki kekeliruan dan perlu adanya perbaikan, baik pada aspek konseptual, praktikal, maupun konstruksi pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi 5 buah DKL yang digunakan guru pada materi transport zat dan menganalisis potensi implementasi hasil rekonstruksi DKL tersebut pada kurikulum merdeka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan tahapan ANCOR (Analisis, Coba, Rekonstruksi). Dari hasil analisis dan uji coba DKL diketahui bahwa belum ada DKL yang memperoleh skor maksimal dari setiap aspek yang dinilai sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan dan rekonstruksi DKL. Tahapan rekonstruksi menghasilkan alternatif DKL praktikum transport zat yang diharapkan dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami materi dan mengkonstruksi pengetahuan mereka sehingga kegiatan praktikum menjadi lebih bermakna. DKL hasil rekonstruksi juga diarahkan pada literasi numerasi untuk mendukung kesuksesan implementasi kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 dicirikan dengan semakin berkembangnya Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK). Hal tersebut menjadi tantangan bagi guru untuk mampu beradaptasi dalam mempersiapkan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan bermakna bagi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan suatu inovasi pembelajaran melalui implementasi Model Discovery Learning diintegrasikan dengan beberapa teknologi, yaitu website Learn-ChemE, Aplikasi Climate Science, Google Jamboard, dan Youtube pada materi perubahan lingkungan kelas X SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur dari berbagai buku dan artikel jurnal yang relevan. Sumber-sumber tersebut disintesa menjadi satu kesatuan dan digunakan sebagai dasar untuk mendukung gagasan penulis dalam pembuatan artikel ini. Kajian literatur ini memberikan rekomendasi model pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang dapat digunakan sebagai penunjang dalam upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan bermakna, serta memudahkan guru dalam mengkoordinir proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The object of learning biology is the universe and its contents. However, not all of these objects can be brought to school. One of the biological materials with these characteristics is environmental change material which is taught in class X SMA. On the other hand, teachers have attempted to design strategies to maximize learning, starting from approaches, models, methods, and media. Through biology learning innovations that integrate technology can facilitate more effective and enjoyable learning. The contextual approach with the field study method is very suitable to support learning about environmental change. Therefore, an innovation in biology learning was carried out on environmental change material. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques, namely literature studies from articles from various journals, websites, and books that are relevant to the topics discussed. The results of this study are recommendations for innovative field study methods and contextual approaches in learning about environmental change with the help of technology. The use of these methods and approaches uses Google Earth technology, Class Tools, IoT, Source Net + HP Camera, Google Spreadsheets, Macroinvertebrates, LiveGap Charts, and Instagram which are expected to produce more meaningful learning.

Abstract

Understanding the brain's mechanisms underlying the learning process holds the potential to revolutionize educational strategies and designs, thereby optimizing the learning experience. Building upon this premise, this study aims to critically review and summarize the evidence of the previous studies that pinpointed the development of the brain-based learning learning implementation in Indonesia and its impact on the learning process . This study applies the systematic literature review method by following the PRISMA 2021 guidelines. We used Scopus and Google Scholar databases from 2013-2022 as the sources. Of the total 2013 articles found, only 92 met the predetermined criteria and then content analysis was carried out. The findings in this study include: (1) there was an increase in research trends related to the implementation of brain-based learning in Indonesia from 2013-2019, but it started to decline in 2020-2022; (2) quasi-experiment dominates the method used; (3) brain-based learning is relevant to be applied at various levels of education; (4) the majority of studies are  conducted in the fields of mathematics and science; and (5) the application of brain-based learning has a positive impact on various aspects of learning. Based on these findings, this research provides a scientific contribution as a basis for stakeholders in developing research related to the application of brain-based learning by utilizing methods, educational levels, and fields of knowledge that have not been widely explored. This effort was carried out to encourage novelty in brain-based learning research because its application has been proven to provide various benefits for improving the quality of education in Indonesia.
