Abstract

This study aims to develop a physics teaching material based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on dynamic electricity. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The instruments in this study used questionnaires and tests. The results of the development of teaching materials show an average value for material validation results of 87.50% (decent category) and for media validation results of 89.82% (decent category). The results of the implementation of teaching materials show an n-gain value of 0.73 (high). The validation results and implementation results are supported by response data from physics teachers with a percentage of 88.33% (very good category) and response data from students with a percentage of 90.60% (very good category). Therefore, the results of the development of physics teaching materials are decent to be used as alternative teaching materials that can optimize higher order thinking skills (HOTS). ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu bahan ajar fisika berbasis High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) pada materi listrik dinamis. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen angket dan instrumen test. Hasil pengembangan bahan ajar menunjukkan nilai rata – rata untuk hasil validasi materi 87,50% (kategori sangat layak) dan untuk hasil validasi media 89,82% (kategori sangat layak). Hasil implementasi bahan ajar menunjukkan nilai n-gain sebesar 0,73 (tinggi). Hasil validasi dan hasil implementasi ini didukung oleh data tanggapan dari guru fisika dengan hasil persentase 88,33% (kategori sangat baik) dan data tanggapan dari peserta didik dengan hasil persentasi 90,60% (kategori sangat baik). Oleh karena itu, hasil pengembangan bahan ajar fisika ini sangat layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar alternatif yang dapat mengoptimalkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS).

Abstract

One of the factors that cause high school students did not achieve optimal physics learning outcomes because teaching materials that still less interactive. This non-interactive teaching material was one of the causes of the low scientific literacy ability of high school students. This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of e-magz on magnetic field materials at SMAN 1 Serang City. This study uses the ADDIE development model. Product validation is carried out by experts using a questionnaire. The average validation results for the material are 94% (very feasible) and for media 96% (very feasible). The results of the pre-test and post-test test scores show an n-gain value of 0.73 (high). These results are supported by the data on the responses of students with very good categories to the assessment of e-magz teaching materials with a percentage of 84.7%. Therefore, the results of the development of e-magz teaching materials are appropriate to be used as supporting teaching materials to improve scientific literacy.
