Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service is an effort to create new independent entrepreneurs based on science and technology that are expected to be in accordance with their fields of knowledge in the digital era, the IbK program can be implemented in the form of entrepreneurship training. This community service method uses socialization in the form of lectures and providing materials, students. The results of this Community Service provide entrepreneurial knowledge, encourage the growth of entrepreneurial motivation, increase understanding of management (organization, production, finance, and marketing) and create business plans or business feasibility studies. The conclusion is that students know how the world works, and what their role is in society.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase the calorific value of coal. In this way, coal which has a calorific value of 3500 kCal/kg can be increased to 6500-7000 kCal/kg. Apart from that, by carrying out this up grading, a number of volatile meters will disappear as a result of the heating and pressure process. The knock-on impact is an increase in the economic value of coal and thus the selling price will be more competitive. After the data was collected, the data was analyzed using descriptive methods. The descriptive method is used to describe the upgraded brown coal (UBC) process. Findings that can be obtained in this research include: 1) Potential company profits can be increased, 2) Increased local government income through taxes, 3) Many mining areas can be exploited, 4) Reduction of unemployment by expanding employment opportunities in the mining sector, 5) Reducing environmental damage by mining power by mining wisely. 6) Reducing environmental pollution due to the combustion process. 7) With this process, investment in the coal mining sector can be increased. This research concludes that the economic value of low quality coal will increase and the profits that can be obtained will be better.

Abstract

The aim of this research is energy conservation as a pillar of national energy management which has not received adequate attention in Indonesia. The method used in this writing is qualitative descriptive. This method is used to describe the facts in the field. The results achieved in this research are the increasingly popular idea of ??using energy economically as a "smart way of living". The clearest indicator of the work carried out by the energy conservation center and other elements of society is Japan's success in positioning itself as the country with the best energy usage productivity in the world and maintaining this position over the period until now. The conclusion of the results obtained is the acceleration of the formation of an energy saving culture by involving all elements of society with a religious and sociocultural approach.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyumbangkan pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional yang sehat melalui penerapan aturan-aturan untuk menggunakan energi secara rasional di berbagai sektor pemakaian serta mengembangkan pemanfaatan sumberdaya energi yang akan memenuhi tuntutan ekonomi dan lingkungan di dalam maupun luar negeri. Hasil penelitian ini adalah konservasi energi akan mendatangkan manfaat bukan hanya untuk masyarakat yang mengkonsumsi energi per kapitanya telah sangat tinggi, namun juga oleh negara yang konsumsi energi per kapitanya masih rendah seperti Indonesia. Konservasi energi bermanfaat bukan hanya untuk menekan konsumsi dan biaya konsumsi energi, namun juga memberikan dampak yang lebih baik terhadap lingkungan. Seperti yang dimaklumi bahwa sumber utama permanasan global yang dikhawatirkan masyarakat planet bumi saat ini adalah pembakaran bahan bakar fosil, atau aktivitas manusia yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan energi. Kegiatan pembakaran bahan bakar fosil, misalnya yang ditunjukkan oleh kegiatan transportasi, menghasilkan berbagai polutan seperti COx , NOx maupun SOx di samping partikel debu yang mengotorkan udara. Penelitian ini disimpulkan kampanye hemat energi, melakukan audit energi (cuma-cuma), menyebarkan teknik-teknik konservasi energi, memberikan insentif untuk melakukan efisiensi pemanfaatan energi.

Abstract

Harga minyak mentah dunia yang mulai melambung tinggi lagi akhir-akhir ini, hingga mendekati kisaran US$ 90, mengakibatkan biaya operasi pembangkit listrik yang berbahan bakar solar meningkat drastis. Mengingat porsi biaya bahan bakar untuk pembangkit listrik adalah antara 60% sampai dengan 80% (tergantung jenis pembangkit listriknya) dari biaya operasi. Untuk itu perlu upaya mengganti sesegera mungkin pembangkit yang berbahan bakar solar dengan pembangkit yang berbahan bakar batu bara. Hal itu mengingat bahwa cadangan energi batubara di Indonesia cukup besar sehingga kontinuitas supply batubara dapat dijamin untuk memenuhi kebutuhan bahan bakar selama umur pakaiĀ  PLTU (30 tahun). Harga batubara Internasional jauh lebih murah daripada harga minyak solar Internasional maka PLTU batubara menjadi alternative yang sangat baik untuk pengganti PLTU minyak solar. Meskipun biaya investasiĀ  dan operasi PLTU batubara lebih besar daripada PLTU minyak namun mengingat biaya yang dominant adalah bahan bakar maka total biaya PLTU batubar masih jauh lebih murah daripada PLTU minyak.
